Comments:

Look at the zeal with which he seeks to find suspicion in an ordinary person’s response to being approached with his level of aggression. Look at how thoroughly his desire to enforce drug busts—which are both profitable and valuable to him as a career move—corrupts his ability to to do his job properly. This entire situation is a ruse to bust someone for drugs. It has no legitimate traffic-enforcement purpose.

On top of that, there’s no actual complaint or meaningful indication of drug activity. This cop just pulled over some guy for a common, minor traffic thing and decided to turn his day into a nightmare, on the excuse that he reacted in a totally reasonable way (nervousness, invoking his rights) to a trap the cops manufactured to go fishing. The truth is that it wouldn’t matter how he reacted. They’d find an excuse to run the dog either way. This young man did exactly the right thing by invoking his rights.

On the cop’s own word, he doesn’t care about the traffic offenses in the least—even though he should, as traffic control is an important function that protects the public. He also doesn’t care about the rights of private citizens—arguably the most important function of his job—as evidenced by his willingness to play out this pretext to bully people into vehicle searches that contravene the spirit of the Fourth Amendment.

  • From :46 seconds to 1:36 the officers give 16 conflicting commands and ask 4 questions without waiting for an answer. This is very reminiscent of the Daniel Shaver murder. Luckily it didn’t play out that way this time.
  • Not only multiple commands, but contradictory commands as well. The cop told him to roll the window UP, then down. The guy literally did exactly what they told him to do, and somehow that is “suspicious”…
  • these tactics are taught. look up “verbal judo” on YouTube. you will find the guy who taught police how to do this, around the country, for decades. this ish is taught!
  • Don’t forget using the threat of issuing a ticket for the original pull over as leverage to progress their agenda.
  • It’s infuriating to watch how these cops use their authority to manipulate every act of compliance by this gentleman into a “suspicious” activity weaponized against him

  • “It’s not a big deal”, says the cop, while he’s making it a big deal. “Get your license and registration for me” says the cop who then wonders why the suspect is “reaching around “ for his license and registration.
  • Do you have license and registration, why are you reaching around so crazy?” That reminds me a lot of that video of the guy who was shot dead by the officer that was giving him multiple conflicting orders. “Get on the ground, don’t move, crawl towards me”. Forgot his name but this made me really upset that this officer did almost the same thing, like he was looking for an excuse to paint him as being aggressive to escalate the situation. Such scumbag cops
    • Once the officer accused him of reaching around when he was following the officers request I lost all trust in the officer.
  • As soon as I heard the cops say they were bringing in a drug dog, I knew that the dog would “find” something. Isn’t it amazing how that happens! You can tell that these cops have had practice shaking down people. People like these cops should not be in that job. They are not there to protect and serve, they are only there to serve themselves by playing these games as a way to gain favor from their bosses to advance their career.

I know it sounds extreme, but if the justice system itself won’t fix problems like this, our only peaceful option as individual citizens is to document the abuses and then avoid cities with police like this at all costs. It’s a slow bleed, but it will work. Starve them of taxes, tourism, and fines. Pressure the local government to fix the problem or watch itself gradually turn into a ghost town.

  • If any “thin blue line” fanboys are reading this….and still wonder why some of us don’t blindly admire cops…this video is one of the reasons why.

  • As a law abiding citizen, I’ve always resented that fact that I feel intimidated every time I see the police, LEO’s need to learn that their job is to protect and serve, it seems these days they’re more concerned with being sneaky and trying to shaft anyone they can because they noticed your brake light burned out before u could.
  • It’s unbelievable how there continues to be all these cops that don’t realize how much they terrify people with their very presence alone.
    • People are terrified for good reason!!! These agents of the state are dangerous!!

    • They absolutely realize that they intimidate community members that’s why they do it! They got off on this power trip.
    • I think they know exactly the effect they have on people, they just play dumb and abuse the fact that their victims are nervous and jittery

    • There is literally CASE law (I do not know it off hand) that says a little nervousness DURING a traffic stop is PERFECTLY NORMAL.

  • Typical copspeak/reaction. I got pulled over on the BW parkway once. As the cop was walking back to his car to run my ID, I yelled to him some pertinent info he needed. He ran back to my car and tried to say I was being aggressive for yelling. Sir, we’re next to a busy roadway, you wouldn’t hear a whisper.

  • He complies carefully with all their orders, they guilt-trip him for doing so, then they pull him out of the car without his consent, take away his cell phone after they said he could record, then keep telling him “You’re not in any kind of trouble”, as they handcuff him. Well that’s reassuring, and a great way to treat someone who’s “not in trouble”.

  • I can’t put into words how much this makes my blood boil. This could have been anyone here in the comments that it happens to. I do give the victim here an “A” for refusing to answer questions, and sticking to his right to not answer questions. If he follows up with an 18 USC 242 and 18 USC 241 federal lawsuit, I would promote that to an A+ Being nervous or sweating or fidgeting is no grounds for reasonable suspicion during a traffic stop: US V CHAVEZ VALENZUELA.

  • Ha, I got stopped a few weeks back, riding on my road bike for not yielding to a cop on a bike stop, coming down a bike trail! Yes, a bike stop, where there are Yield to pedestrians/cyclists signs everywhere. The guy got off his suv pretty aggressive & demanded for an I.D, like I had just ran a red light on a car. He kept demanding for my name or else he was going to write me a ticket, take me to jail & impound my $4,000 road bike. And I had read somewhere that cops can auction off your bike after 24 hours. Next thing I know, I had three cops pull up out of nowhere, one of them wanted to search me, but I did not consent & he backed off. I gave the aggressive cop my name. He goes back to his suv, 5 minutes later, he returned huffing & puffing & told me to, “Get the fu– out of here!”, in a scolding manner. I live like a block away from the local bike trail. I was shook. I’m 6’4 & built like a football player, but this skinny prick had the baseballs to speak to me like a school bully. The badge seems to give these cops a sense of “power” & entitlement. I did talk to a friend who is a lawyer, but since I did not get their name & badge numbers, I had nothing to persue. A month later & i’m still pissed about it. I worked my butt off to buy that bike. I was more scared of these pricks messing with my bike, than I had of going to jail. 🤣

  •  @Kermit Of War  Start wearing a GoPro when you’re on your bike for multiple reasons. It’s funny how different these clowns act when they know you’re recording them. Record every interaction you have with the Police for your safety and TRUTH, not their version of the event as they lie in their reports.
  • Officer: “I’m not forcing you to answer my questions” also Officer: “Answer my questions or I put you under arrest.”
  • “You got license and registration” “Why are you reaching” Garbage cop should lose his qualified immunity.
  • “I don’t consent to searches” “I dont wanna answer any questions” He’s exercising his rights and then they try to guilt him as if he’s “making them nervous” (the ones with the guns 💀), gaslight him and act like they arent pushing him on these things, this guys are on a power trip and crazy
  • “Get me your license and registration sir.” reaches for documents “What are you reaching around for? You got guns? Turn off your vehicle!” reaches for key “Why are you reaching around? Undo your seatbelt!” reaches for seatbelt “Stop reaching around!”
  • When I went through the police academy, the instructors always told us, “Laws are made to protect police officers.” It was detestable then and just as detestable now. I thank God I was smart enough to throw that career in the trash.

  • They asked him for his license, registration, proof of registration. Then accused him of reaching for something! If they are that terrified of a guy in that situation they should find another line of work!

  • I hate seeing this happen to people. I have been pulled over a few times in my life and each time I get extremely nervous and get a bad adrenaline rush. So much so that isn’t visible to the officers and I have been asked “why are you so nervous” it’s one of the most terrifying questions I have ever been asked by a police officer and even though I didn’t have anything to hide I still couldn’t explain to an officer why I was freaking out so bad, and IM WHITE, and I grew up with a father for a cop. If this is how I feel during a traffic stop then I can’t even begin to image how people of minorities, or other races feel during police interactions. My heart goes out to you and I truly hope that the police in this country get a serious reconstruction because this system is messed up.
  • “We’re looking for guns and narcotics” “you pulled me over for guns and narcotics?” “No” lol these corrupt cops are something else
  • “Roll your window updown.” “You got your license and registration? Why you reaching around all crazy?” Can’t even go 15 seconds into the encounter without cops doing things to intentionally confuse the citizen so they can make a mountain out of a molehill.

  • “Your not in any kind of trouble”
  • immediately cuff’s him, searches him, calls the drug dog, rips apart the car searching everything Yup, no trouble at all.
  • “You’re making me nervous” -the fully armed and armored person with another identically outfitted guy on his side talking to the unarmed guy he just detained for “reaching around” after being asked for his registration.
  • “You’re making me nervous” -the fully armed and armored person with another identically outfitted guy on his side talking to the unarmed guy he just detained for “reaching around” after being asked for his registration.
  • “he was acting weird” “I smelled drugs” Got to love the many completely unprovable claims cops can make to just trample over your rights.
    • It’s much easier to jump to conclusions when one already has a preconceived notion, as these LEOs have demonstrated It is the basis of prejudice.
    • Statements made with probable deniability gives them an out.
    • exactly and these ridiculous laws that give them discretion that clearly violates citizens rights
  • You know what also separates the community from law enforcement? Standing around while an active shooter runs through an elementary school, attack parents who want to get their kids, and then troopers get on the news and try to justify those actions.
  • this encounter hasn’t “tainted his view towards police officers”. It has set it straight, once and for all.
This guy is a lawyer’s dream client. Asserts his rights, remains calm and refuses to answer questions. Well done sir.
They badgered him from the start, he didn’t know which way was up or down but managed to keep calm.
@kareem Spaulding  I’m so sorry you went through this, but I know I not alone in my admiration of you; the way you handled these fucks – and especially the way you handled yourself – would take some serious strength, self-control, and a calm and knowledgeable mind.
@Calamity  it come from experience and knowledge
@kareem Spaulding  It’s sad that you’ve had to build these abilities. I hope at least this turns out for you

The cop literally told him to roll his window up, then down, then all the windows down, and he complied with every demand. Then asked for license and registration and he went to get them and they say “he was reaching around and acting nervous”… Then the cop admitted to what there real intent was for the stop. This is a slam dunk violation of this man’s constitutional rights. The worst part is the cops legitimately believe they were in the right, even with it all ve recorded. Not even unbelievable anymore either, and that’s just f’ing sad.
  • Actually it’s not technically. The police are allowed to lie it’s some stupid Supreme Court case (yes unconstitutional but in America gov can do whatever they wat )
  • Don’t forget that the cop (I’ll edit the timestamp in) admitted that Spalding’s refusal to answer questions played a part in his decision to search the car. That’s a violation of his fifth amendment rights.
  • Edit: it’s at 6:55
  • Police officers are not allowed to tell any lie they want! They are limited by situation, purpose, and even permission.
  •  @Matt Boyd  First, Fourth and Fifth Amendment Rights were Violated.
  • When i was homeless i was sleeping outside in the cold winter. A cop wake me up with a kick in the ribs, told me gtfo or he would break my legs, then i get up to leave and the other cop threw me on the groud because i was “fleeing the scene”.
  • I don’t get pulled over often. But when I do I clearly explain that I’m carrying a firearm on my body and that I have another in my center console immediately. Sometimes the officer is cool with it. I have had a couple that were extremely nervous that made me nervous. Also had a cop draw down on me when I told them I was armed.
  • I don’t always agree with your conclusions, but yeah, you are spot on with this one. Those are bad cops, through and through, and they bring a dark stain upon the badge.
  • “I’m being straight-up with you” says cop, in the middle of lying, while under the protection of being able to lie as a legal tactic.
  • I’m starting to see the pattern now. Approach vehicle….start throwing out multiple commands as fast as possible. This throws the subject off balance. The suspect starts to get more and more nervous. They get more apprehensive. This reinforces the cops justification to yank them out of the car because the suspect can’t rationally follow the string of commands being spat at them. This is by design. THIS is what needs to change. The police know how to illicit the responses they need to invade however they want. Tag team commands also over complicate. One issues a command, suspect starts to obey, second cop issues conflicting order right after. This gives the illusion of failing to comply. “License and registration”…suspect begins to reach….second cop “What are you reaching around for?” BANG! suspicion achievement unlocked. This is a routine that these two cops have rehearsed and executed for a LONG time.
  • I’ve always found it interesting how using a K9 to get probable cause to search a car is admissible even if the average in-field performance drops to 57% accuracy.
  • If he gets scared when people reach for the documents he asked for, he is a danger to people and unfit for the job.
    • It’s a game. He is reading a script to the microphone. He can say later he was worried, and his proof is his own recorded comments.
    • They all say that in almost every single interaction police have they say, “Im scared, for my saftey,” etc, its a part of the game they play.
  • Except it is video recorded. If I filmed an empty parking lot and said see that red car drive by? And there is no red car a judge or anyone would see my words do not match the action I am describing. If the officer is nervous about a man complying and doing nothing weird or wrong then he does not need to be a cop. That is like a firefighter afraid to go in the fire…uncalled for and until everyone presses charges/files complaints it will continue. We know there are good policemen but the that doesn’t mean we can ignore the bad ones.

  •  @Shelley Mackey Spence  I think we all know the cop was never once nervous during the whole encounter. There’s no need to explain the irony of a nervous cop. It’s clearly all word games for the camera to justify his dirty actions.

  • God I’m so disgusted by this. At what point do we fight back against these unlawful detentions? I want so badly to start seeing people defend themselves from being accosted like this. These cops deserve to lose their jobs, or allowed to continue them long enough for someone to humiliate, assault, terrify, and harass them.
  • When law enforcement says that you are not in trouble while continuing to find a reason to escalate it you know you’re in trouble, handled perfectly by this gentleman IMHO and the ticket was likely retaliatory when he could have just as easily have issued a couple of warnings and as for the court system it’s been corrupted beyond belief from the founders intentions by tyrannical leadership currently in full force in our nation.
  • I’m extremely happy that you went over the problems of using a dog to escalate the stop! As a dog Trainer myself I’ve been saying this for years
  • as a supporter of good LEOS, there just continues to be a failure of common sense of how much better these situations could go without them instantly escalating every single situation.
  • Drug dogs are just a way to bypass reasonable suspicion and perform illegal searches.
  • I was harassed by deputies at my home when someone called police on me for no reason. I believe they had body cams. When I talked to lawyers , they refused to take my case saying they don’t want to get in fight with local sheriff office even they acknowledged that they don’t wrong to me. My question is how I can start process for those cops to get justice and bring them in courts ?
  • The man was caught very off guard, as a motor vehicle driver every time you plan to go out, you must rehearse your lines, lol… / like yeah judge Jonathan Kurlnad told me to carry my docs in my visor, LMAO their faces priceless…
  •  @Tom Orr  Dude do you fucking live in the same world we do? As soon as those cops got out and approached from both sides at once I was terrified for this man. They behaved like predators from zero, escalating at every opportunity until they had him out of the car and on the sidewalk.
  • “Is there anything illegal in the car?” This is a trap because there’s no correct answer. Remaining silent causes the police to become concerned. If the man answered “Yes” that would obviously cause the police to be concerned also. And answering “No” would clearly be cause for concern that he may be lying.
  • I’ve been in this situation before. Multiple cops start asking you questions so fast you can’t answer and give you conflicting orders. The goal is to keep you off balance and make sure that no matter what you do, you’re refusing to answer questions or comply with their orders so they can escalate the situation.
If “acting funny” is probable cause, then every cop in America should be under suspicion of committing a crime
  • The very escalation into a search for two minor traffic infractions is one of the many reasons he was nervous and distrustful. It amazes me how a person, who is already fearful and suspicious of cops’ motives, is told to relax, don’t be afraid. B.S.! This whole interaction emphasizes why we don’t trust you.
  • We’re just gonna ignore he fact that the one officer said he was gonna arrest him for merely having “sovereign citizen” literature in his car? This officer is a dangerous tyrant.
  • The cops had to show him who has the most power. They always got to show their strength.
  • It’s absolutely amazing that cops routinely say things that amount to “you have rights, but if you use them then we will do X.” If you can’t freely use your rights they are not rights…Sadly this conservative Supreme Court has mangled the case law so much that a cop really has to say and do something dumb to not have legal grounds to do almost anything. Fortunately, there are some very stupid cops who can’t even stay within the bounds of a standard that already grants them such wide latitude.
  1. It’s absolutely insane to me how the Police are the ones acting scared, lying to incriminate a innocent man, and immediately come to the car and claim HE is the one acting strange.
  • Being “nervous” is completely up to their discretion. I can’t understand how they think that’s legal. They live talking about their safety, but will pull you over on a 70mph roadway with speeding traffic, 2 in away for a minor headlight or equip violation.
  • Can a citizen who is stopped use the, “I feared for my life,” and the, “I had to make a split-second decision,” defenses?
  • police always say “There is no reason for you to be acting like this” when they are the ones acting all insane “ROLL THE WINDOW UP ROLL IT DOWN”
  • These cops were extremely aggressive right from the start, it was mostly a fishing expedition and a very terrifying one at that.

  • “I just want to record this” “That’s fine” immediately takes the phone out of his hand to prevent him from recording. Cops are scum.
  • 1:30: How can a cop approach someone like this cop did and then dare to act like it’s weird that he seems nervous? You have him cornered and surrounded, and in the first minute of the encounter you’ve already given him 6 different orders, some of them conflicting with each other. Several of the orders were barked at him repeatedly before he could even process what you’d said. The way you’re speaking would make anyone nervous even if you weren’t carrying a gun and wearing an “I can get away with anything” costume.
  • Not answering questions gets these freak cops nervous and ready to claim “uncooperative” what a bunch of BS
  • When the first cop said “I’m going to read him”, that means he intended to read Mr Spalding his Miranda Rights and potentially place him under arrest – with no justification or reasonable suspicion whatsoever. We need to eliminate qualified immunity yesterday.
  • This same thing happened to me. I actually refused to reach for anything cause I could see one officer was nervous and twitchy with his hands on his gun. I was pulled over for expired temp tags. Ended up getting the car towed cause I wouldn’t consent to a search of the car.
  • He should said “I want my ticket for speeding and illegal lane change”, and said nothing else. As soon as he gets the tickets the stop is over by law. Anything else after that not be held against him as he was detained after the main reason for the stop.
  • I saw this a while ago on another channel and it made my blood boil. The only person acting funny is the drivers side cop with how jumpy he is and blurting out all kinds of orders and questions. I couldn’t believe how much the drivers side officer was intentionally trying to escalate the situation.
  • I know it was going bad from jump when the cops wanted him to roll down ALL his windows. The guy also needs to bone up on his rights. He has a basic idea; but needs to be educate himself more.
  • “You switched lanes in the intersection & were going 51 in a 35, but I don’t want to give you tickets.” Translates to “I’m copsplaining for the camera because I’m about to violate your constitutional rights and or slap you with some false charges after conducting an illegal search.”
  • “I would just finish the ticket, and call it a day.” In other words he’s saying, “Damn, sucks we couldn’t find anything to stick him with, so let’s just let this one go! 🙄
  • 6:50 Just because you don’t exercise your constitutional right not to self incriminate doesn’t mean others can’t. Police officers are so sensitive that anytime someone does not answer questions, they take that as resisting/combative.

  • love how cops will pull loop holes with dogs when denied consent. “can I search your car?” no “fuck you I’m gonna get a dog that’s trained to receive treats when it sits next to cars or on command with documented 80% failure rates so I can do it anyway.”

  • When the cop says “if someone pulled me over id say no theres nothing illegal” what this cop doesnt understand is he would never be stopped under the same pretenses as he stopped this man for. You can tell this guy being “weird”is him not wanting to give up his rights cause he went from 0 to losing in a matter of seconds with these cops. And they treat citizens like this multiple times on a daily basis across the nation. time4change
  • It blows my mind dogs alert is legal. It is so damn easy to have the dog alert and they keep no stats on how often drugs weren’t found. It is just a super easy loophole for cops to violate your rights.
  • The officer ADMITTED he was looking for guns and drugs and that was the reason for the stop. I’ll bet when his (edit: CIVIL) attorney gets going on this, the city’s own street cameras will show he never did anything wrong to be stopped in the first place.
  • They’d pull the “why are you nervous?!” Shit on me when I was a 16 year old kid and I thought the worst thing was they could give me a ticket. I’d literally be scared of getting a ticket and they’re flipping the fuck out like this. Then I had a Halloween mask in my trunk from Halloween so I’m “robbing houses” like where do they make these leaps. Oh I also forgot I had a fishing tackle box (full of roadside safety things like flares and all the shit they tell you that you need in drivers Ed) and that makes me a drug dealer. Cuz apparently drug dealers keep tackleboxes in their cars? I mean what kind of mental gymnastics do they need to do to make leaps like that? “There’s no reason for you to act like this” well normal people don’t do well with just being yanked out of their car and manhandled. And I don’t wanna say racist but I feel like that would’ve been less likely if he was white. I pass for white but when I was younger you could tell I was Hispanic. And I’d be in the passenger seat with my white friend (who was a total idiot and troublemaker btw) and I’d be polite saying yes sir no sir to them. And he’d be talking to them like they’re the biggest idiots wasting his time. And they’d fuck with ME! Meanwhile he’s the driver and they’re being so nice to him. My other friend she had the exact same experience too. So I also learned just talk to them like they’re idiots. The one time I did that they let me go with a warning. All the other times they’d see how much they could fuck with me.
  • My goodness these cops escalate quickly. Far too quickly for a reasonable person to follow instructions. They to go “you are making me nervous” way too quickly.
  • I think that if a cop conducts a search because he “smelled” contraband, saw shake, a dog alerted or stuff like that and nothing is found there should be consequences, and they should be open up to Constitutional violations. Because if they claim to detect these things and none us found that kinda suggests a lie or manipulation of the situation to get a search, doesn’t it?
  • Officer also stated that as long as he is made waiting for the dog he’s going to be writing tickets. Since it could take awhile for a dog to arrive it is fair that this is a threat of false tickets being written during this scare tactic!!!
  • The fact that you appear to have an unending supply of these types of police encounters makes me think your police in America are corrupt and unworthy of the role of police officer.
  • And of course officers faced no consequences for doing this and went on to continue to do it in the future without being challenged. This is the kind of degrading treatment people face constantly especially minorities by racist cops who interpret anything a minority might do as suspicious.
  • A neighbor of mine is a state trooper. He has his DRE certification – Drug Recognition Expert. Every driver that pisses him off gets his light in their eyes. Then they get arrested for being under the influence of opioids because when you’re under the influence of opioids your pupils constrict. Even though he KNOWS the light constricts their pupils he arrests them anyway and swears in court that their pupils were constricted and that’s a sign of opioid use. Never piss off a cop. They have 1000 ways to violate your rights and they will do it in a second!
  • Based on that guys reaction to all this, I suspect this is not the first time it’s happened.
  • A total fishing expedition. And their actions show just that! Hopefully one day law enforcement will be he’d to the same standards that the citizens are held to.
  • Soon as the officer talked about roll the windows all the way down I already knew what type of situation this was about to be. You don’t legally have to do that. There’s no laws that require you to roll all the windows down without reasonable suspicion
  • Don’t forget about that inhuman tactic of making people sit on the ground.
  • What continues to baffle me is how police can do this sort of thing, then pretend to be surprised that people don’t trust them and believe police are going to harm them or trump up false charges no matter what they say or do. If police really are that unaware of the direct consequences of their own actions, then it’s an active public danger to give them weapons and permission to use them.
  • Sadly, both of these officers were doing precisely what they’ve been trained to do in accordance with departmental policy. So much for “justice” in America.
  • In California, you can switch lanes in the middle of an intersection. I found that out when I went to traffic school several decades ago.
  • This is reminds me of the Orlando in the 80s when the cops were out of control and the cops were planting evidence on people and in their property also once they got you charged with something within months they were arrested again and again when most people get pulled over they get nervous and or upset either with the cops or themselves

“Fruits of the Poisonous Tree”

As a retired Police Officer, I can tell you that the speeding citation will be tossed. I don’t care about his “well calibrated” Police cruiser, because you’re still required to pace the speeding vehicle at least one mile without losing or gaining distance. I heard a Judge once ask a state Trooper who tried to pull this stunt,;
“you’re telling the court…. with your calibrated eyeballs you clocked him at this rate of speed?!”

From the aggressive bullying by these officers, I’m fairly sure that the pacing did not happen. Improper Lane change in the intersection? Their PC for stopping this man is suspect at best.

This foolishness of pulling people over just because you can is dangerous! This traffic stop is pregnant for a disaster. He could have shot them or vice-versa.

  • Mandatory body cams have proven to be a huge leap in justice. It tends to work against law enforcement
  • I have been saying since forever that it is the GRAY area of the law that allows officers to continue to be corrupt and downright dishonest and abusing rights over and over,he SHOULD be allowed to sue the individual officers and not the system as these officers should be held accountable for their actions and not hide behind their badge.
  • I hope he sues…. They can’t extend the stop to wait for a dog.
  • What happened to traffic stops, that actually have to deal with traffic. You get pulled over, cop tells you why he stopped you, ask you for your information, run a check, give you back you property, and send you on your way. No one gets threatened, injured, or worse, killed, because of over zealous cops. This is so much more than just a traffic stop.
  • I like how saying “I’m not answering questions” is seen as suspicious so they call the K-9 unit even tho the right to remain silent can’t be seen as incriminating
  • “ We want to make sure we go home safely. That’s the key to this whole thing”. Obviously doesn’t matter if the school children don’t go home safely, you bunch of cowards.

  • okay so when he says he’s looking for narcotics and fire arms my interpretation was he’s not worried about ticketing minor offenses. obviously you’d judge someone you pull over and if you suspect more you go from there. therefore that’s not pretext
Oh sad to see this so close to home. I live no more than 15 minutes from where this happened
🌼These new cameras that people have in their cars on the rear view mirror will catch a lot of predatory cops. Taking the cell phones away won’t prevent people from recording once these become common.

Wow, they are intentionally escalating everything they possibly can. They are playing, I’m the Good Guy, and I’m Your Friend. Neither is true. This is a guy with power, and he knows how to use it, so he’s going to twist everything he can, to get what he wants. You have no rights while this guy is near you, and I would imagine police hq would agree with that, and with everything he does.

The driver has every reason to be scared of these guys, and yes, they have guns, and it’s takes a second to have that gun out, and killing you. So, the fact that it isn’t in their hand means nothing at all. Just the fact that cops are still acting like this, after everything that has happened in the last few years, is really a problem.

They are actually using the fact, that anyone would be nervous of cops as reason to invade your privacy, and do what they want, in the guise of your being suspicious, because your nervous. Like anyone can really stay completely calm around cops acting like they are. It’s a really shady way to do justice.

The ones actually acting suspicious, are the cops. They are screaming, Don’t Trust Us!!!

This was a fishing expedition, like most police stops like this. They do their best to Escalate anything they can, to give you a ticket, or take you to jail. Either way, they want you feeding money into the system, to fight the system. They want to get you in front of a judge. Nothing else matters, because police do no wrongs, and they never lie.

  • Seems you need to learn how to hand your licence and registration to a cop without actually physically handing your licence and registration to them, in case it scares them……
  • So tough these cops are. Now imagine if they can be that tough in an active shooter scenario.
  • If a police dog is brought in and alerts on your vehicle, leading to a search: should the car owner request/demand to told the dogs name, tag number etc to aid in later understanding if that specific dog was trained and certified?
  • A LARGE percentage of officers these days break the very laws they enforce. It’s sickening and “things” have to change !!!

Sadly, talking to lawyers this is EXTREMELY common. Where cops will try to delay something as much as possible to get a drug dog out there to harass someone.
What they told me is if something like that happens. Tell the officer “am I free to go”, and “I do not consent to stay here longer than a reasonable time for you to do your investigation.” Another is if they say you’re not free to go, say “please tell me when I’m free to go so I can leave. Thank you” Basically, it shows you didn’t voluntary stay there longer than needed for a normal traffic stop. It is likely, if he brought it to court with this body cam and a good lawyer. He wouldn’t have to pay a dime, and he could’ve sued for the extended time being stuck there.

From what they told me, if they pull a I smell x. You say, “can you prove in court that you smell x?” They might get PO, but basically it signals that won’t fly in court. They will most likely try to pull a drug dog, and mention “your lawyer will pull up the record of the drug dog training, and all officers involved.” Like they and others will pull BS that saying that forces them to do it. But in reality, by the time they are pulling a stunt with a drug dog or threatening it. They are going to do it no matter what you say, and fear of it not being held up in court is the only way to get them to back down.

#1: I’ll help you- the young Black man (that’s what this is all about) gets an A+++ as he did what a Judge (a relative of mine) told us to do: keep your hands on the wheel or up in plain sight, no movements unless asked to do so, simply ask why you’re being stopped, try to remain calm, let the cops know you’re going to exercise your rights, & that you don’t consent to any searches or seizures. Despite clearly doing this, he is assaulted, handcuffed, harassed, & subject to numerous rights violations during this course of racial profiling.
#2: This is the modus operandi for these cops (seen it & been thru it enough myself) and they clearly stated what their real intentions where while they used the plethora of tricks afforded them by the Courts.
#3: I thought this was going to be another young Black man murdered by cops during a traffic stop for nothing. IF you couldn’t tell, the young man was literally frightened for his life. He was confused by what they really wanted from him/their actions. Their approach, tone, & attitude let him know that “road piracy” wasn’t what this was all about. He did NOT know if he would survive this encounter.
#4: He probably can’t afford a $750/hour attorney (if he could find one) & how many of us can? He paid the ticket as he wanted to be through with this system as much as anything else. Besides, the Courts ain’t gonna listen to him even if these 2 regularly planted drugs on innocent citizens. Period.
#5: He is permanently scarred by this treatment from “those sworn to serve and protect” & will do his best to avoid them forever.

Oh, but the system loses as well. He will return to his community & add his fear and humiliation to that of his community which will continue to not trust law enforcement (exactly why should they?).

So, forget about expecting virtually any cooperation when law enforcement needs help from them.

  • Why anyone would believe that this type of “law enforcement” is either fair, okay, or sustainable is beyond me. People are beyond tired of this crap…..

  • I find it disappointing that when a person doesn’t jump through their hoops in assisting the officers in finding evidence to arrest them on, and politely says they won’t answer questions: the officers assume he’s some “extremist sovern citizen”.

  • I’ve encountered cops talking to me like that, too, except for the narcotics stuff.

  • ”You are not in trouble” but by jove, we are gonna make damn sure you are, if we can get our hands on you. It’s no wonder people get nervous when they get approaches by police, all over the world in these times.
  • “The blame cannot be solely placed on these officers. As the current legal framework surrounding traffic stops allows for, and often legitimizes conduct such as this.” Well stated. And watching these cops come up and immediately start with the “you’re acting strange” nonsense, makes one sick to their stomach.
  • Very common in Florida. These cops drive around looking for “narcotics and firearms” and they have no problem fabricating traffic infractions to initiate a stop. Happened to me many, many times. These particular cops were particularly polite, I’ve had them yelling and spitting in my face, threatening to plant drugs, and taking down my personal info telling me I’d better watch out, etc. The Supreme Court erred when they ruled that a dog’s nose on the exterior of a vehicle granted probable cause to search the interior of a vehicle. Hopefully one day it will be overturned, especially considering the dogs are about as reliable as a coin flip.
  • Of course, the dog had a positive reaction! Dogs always have a positive reaction, that’s how police get around the 4th amendment protections. I am frankly surprised that the cops didn’t plant any drugs so that the dog hit would make sense!

  • Unfortunately in my experience in 33 years of driving this is a normal traffic stop in the United States of America and I have driven in 26 of those States
  • Every single time you tell a cop you’re recording their answer is always “okay we’re recording too.” Somehow their footage always goes missing…
  • It still staggers me that officers are surprised that people are nervous around them and don’t trust them. Can it really be a shock when they treat people like this? Don’t they realise that this behaviour makes their job harder in the first place??
I am a man who believes in the law and the reasonability of everybody following the same rules as everyone else. Officers like these ones, who removed a man from his car, searched him, and put him under a threat of arrest because “hes shakey” makes me very sick.
these officers are nuts. i defend officer conduct on a daily basis, and do my best to be fair and honest in each occurance. When i see officers like this, it rips all the good that can come from law enforcement, and i hate the way officers like these treat that lawbook like their own personal strong arm.
  • They openly admitted that they were looking for any excuse to pull him over so they can look for drugs. he came right and said that they arent interested in enforcing traffic laws they just wanna find drugs and guns
  • Wish he didn’t open his car door. I don’t know why they just panicked when he did that. It just all of a sudden caused this whole thing.
Based on how the video plays out, they didnt even use the ticket to extend the stop in any way that would be reasonable.
They didnt even start the process of writing the ticket until AFTER the search was over and the ticket was handed out as punishment for using his 5th ammendment rights.
That’s why it is very important to have a body, dash camera,& gps to record evidence against police making false claims
These “officers” were behaving exactly how they were trained to behave and doing exactly what the department expects them to do. We are living in a police state and “we the People” need to end it. Hold these agencies to account and dismiss the abusive leadership and rank and file. We pay these people to do a difficult job and we should expect them to do it well or don’t do it at all.
  • Officer basically said “ You see how using your rights make us nervous?” 😂
  • my favorite part in this was when mr spalding {sorry if I misspelled it} says im gonna start recording and the cops were like nope in handcuffs u go smh record the police if they start acting shady this is how we make them responsible.
  • A good friend of mine has been training police dogs for 40 years. He said it’s a well known open secret that the dogs are trained to give false alerts with subtle commands.
    • One cop faces away and the other blocks his camera with the door at the point the dog signals. Presumably the dog handler doesn’t have a camera. Whole thing looks like a setup.
    • Anyone who has ever owned a dog knows this. Sure, they can find the baggie in the practice yard. But they get treats and make their masters happy, when they alert. It’s not hard to figure out this is just a game they use to get around the search and seizure laws.
  • DO NOT give law enforcement officers permission to go into your vehicle – to search or to retrieve your driver’s license, registration, or proof of insurance. They can plant things in your vehicle.
  • 7:48 There is no such thing as a “well-trained narcotics-detection dog”. Its as accurate as a coin flip
  • 3:10 – I won’t give you a speeding ticket if we can find some firearms or narcotics. This cop would really suck at Let’s Make A Deal. He’s also an oath breaking punk.
  • There should never be a situation where an American citizen is stopped for a minor traffic violation and the police escalate the stop into multiple made up charges. Our legislators need to stop this highway piracy. American citizens shouldn’t lose all the rights when they drive and have to live in fear.
  • “I’m thinking sovereign citizen.” that tells you exactly what this police department thing of the bill of rights
“The dog alerted because he paused.” Pausing to smell isn’t an alert, but most judges and lawyers don’t know shit about dog training.
  • First off, having to roll all the windows down so the cops can see if there’s anyone else in there and the first question they ask is “do you have any guns in the car?” says a lot about how fucked up the country is. Then the cops says the most important thing is that everyone goes home safely – FROM A STOP FOR CHANGING LANES IN AN INTERSECTION. In no other civilisied country would that even get a mention nor would the driver be handcuffed before being placed under arrest for something they’d done.
  • $197 because they have to write a ticket in order to wait for a drug dog, according to SCOTUS precedent. The officers’ behavior was disgusting, but it’s a combination of policing culture and case law that screwed this guy over. Asking him why he’s so nervous is especially disgusting to me. “Why are you shaking? It’s incredibly suspicious.” “Uhhhhh because I’m thinking that I might die from this.”

  • All citizens need to learn how to return the assertions of cops back on them. “You’re acting pretty funny too officer. What are you reaching for officer? I don’t know, are you behaving like a normal person during this encounter or do you not concern yourself with your own behaviors?”

  • Notice the cop when he asked him to step out of the car he grabbed his arm, then grabbed his phone to stop him from recording at the 1:451:46 mark. I have a few questions: do they make inside car cameras that record the inside of the car from multiple angles that will capture a cop if they try to plant evidence in your car? Also how can you tell if a cop body camera is on?
  • They had basic understanding of Constitution; instead of abiding the law, they manipulated the situation to violate citizen. So typical.
  • Laws that hold authority accountable are only valid if the citizens have the means to hold authority accountable.
  • That is sad. He seems like a legit nice guy and those cops were “pretending” to be cool but were far from it. I hope he does Sue them if nothing else to bring this to light. Thanks for another well done video🤘🏻❤️
  • How do these cops go back to their family and kids at night knowing that they themselves have committed a crime the same day ( and likely everyday) Horrible ☠️
  • As a police officer of eight years, I always appreciate your videos
  • Key to this video, cops believe the 5th Amendment is an admission of guilt or wrongdoing.
  • Police lie so often that is becomes habitual and feels perfectly natural to them.I cringe whenever I hear Police saying “Stop Resisting” when the video clearly shows that there is no resisting going on.
  • Why would you say his view was tainted? These officers are the product of their system. His view is perfectly aligned now with what the system wants to enforce: never talk to cops, never help, never ask for help, never engage with them outside the presence of your attorney.
  • Are records kept by any given police department that keep track of how many times a K-9 unit alerts, but nothing is found? THAT would be most interesting to research.
  • Cop “Your acting all nervous, reaching around, rolling up your windows..” Later same cop “You’re making me nervous.”
  • I found it rich when at the 2:01 mark the cop says “You’re not in trouble right now, you’re acting funny man. There’s no reason for you to act like this”. I respectfully disagree. If I were a young black man and two armed government sponsored gang members stopped me and immediately ordered me out of the car to prevent me from recording I would be nervous also. I thought that the young man was better than I would have been. He was told to roll down all of his windows and he complied immediately. I would have not complied and keep my doors locked. But, I am white and old. So, they wouldn’t have done the same thing to me I don’t think. In any event, this was racist as sure as I am sitting here. I guarantee if that was a young, pretty white girl with a big smile this wouldn’t have happened like this. Not in a million years. FTP now and forever. They truly earn every bit of the disdain, contempt, and hate that they get from the public.
  • We all know who these officers are serving in these situations, but who exactly do they think they’re “protecting”?
  • The sad part is that this abuse of power is so common, that Black ppl rarely see treatment like this as anything but racism. The laws that protect poor performance from cops is a problem. Mr. Spaulding did an excellent job of legally advocating for himself. Stops like these create resentment towards police.
  • Traffic stops are not used in the interest of safety, they are always a pretext for racist harassment. If the government was interested in the safety of its citizens it would have the roads designed to be safe, not selectively punish people for minor traffic violations.
  • This video just infuriates me….this is THE definition of a pre textual stop…..this driver was absolutely mistreated and the only reason the cop didn’t catch an a$$ whoopin is because he IS a cop…..disgusting law enforcement overreach
  • We are only a little way in and we already know what kind of person this cop is. If you say something about them having guns and the cop replies “do you see a gun in my hand?” You know you are in trouble.
  • Got pulled over by Everett Washington cops for doing 35.2mph in a 35mph zone. They had me in cuffs sitting on the street corner and they searched my truck and found nothing. Took it to court and got the $150 speeding ticket dismissed but I still had to pay $50 for the court fee to fight the ticket. Same cop pulled me over again for my window tint. It’s the factory tint. Gave me a $100 some odd dollar ticket for window tint and took it to court again and won but again, I had to pay another $50 for court fee to fight the ticket.

  • Well, this is why the guy was nervous. He had a feeling that the cops were not stopping him because of a traffic violation, they were just seeing a dude and were hoping for finding something in his car. Because of these cases, pretty much everyone becomes nervous when a cop talks to them.
    • And the likelyhood that the cops were going to create some bs and charge him with something no matter what.
    • Or, worse, planting something in the vehicle in a manner that the bodycam cannot view.
  • I’m surprised that I’m not seeing comments about the fact that one of the cops wanted to arrest him for being a “sovereign citizen” despite the fact that he didn’t use any of their talking points! He simply gave minimal comments and invoked his right to remain silent.

  • Cops make people nervous regardless if they have done anything or not. That should not be a reason to elevate a routine traffic stop to searching the car. I don’t blame the guy for it answering questions because they try to entrap you with those questions. Why is there more pressure on the person to be perfect at a traffic stop when the officer has the training and should know the law?
  • It saddens me to hear that towns like Uvalde are spending 40% of their budget on policing and the police end up not doing anything to prevent crimes.

  • You’re exactly right! This is a good example of why cops are hated. Also, I absolutely HATE that a dog can give cause to have a car searched.
  • The speeding ticket requires that the officer produce the Certifications necessary to get the speed measuring device used as admissible evidence. However, the lane change observation only requires the officer to testify under oath that what he believes he saw was a unauthorized or unnecessary move by the gentleman. In that case there is no requirement that the officer film this encounter to determine whether what he claims he saw was in fact what happened. This thin, non existent thread of evidence gives those in authority a license to ‘steal’. So, back to my first point, just who profits from the $197.00 paid by the gentleman? How is that bounty divided up?Did the dog get anything, maybe a tasty meaty bone to chew on? It seems only fair since the police were allowed to sink their teeth, so to speak, into the gentleman’s wallet. And just what average joe, or in this case a young black man, would be able to spend/afford the money to hire an attorney? Last thought, the speeding ticket would have come with points, did the lane change charge carry any points? If the answer is no, see how nice the two officers were, they did not want to see his insurance rates possibly go up, and in that case the gentleman might have felt it necessary to contest the claim in court!

  • Cop straight up turned the exercise of a right into probable cause. Give him a promotion.
  • Cops: immediately act aggressive, as if he’s a criminal with a gun Also cops: “why are you acting funny?” Disgusting
  • I have advice for everyone. Keep your insurance and registration paperwork in an envelope clipped to the sun visor. This way you don’t need to “go reaching around”. And always have a paper copy, as opposed to an app on your phone. If it’s on your phone you’ll be forced to “reach around” in your pocket to get it, and you’ll have to go digging around in phone to find the app which could show the officer shaking fingers or “cognitive impairment” if you can’t find it quickly. And if it’s on your phone you may need to give the officer your unlocked phone, and if you refuse to hand it over, you are now deemed “uncooperative”. Don‘t give the them an opportunity to develop Probable Cause. Lastly, if you have a dashcam or cameras mounted in the interior DO NOT tell them. Even if they find something minor, if there are any shenanigans committed by the police captured on film the court may not allow your dimebag as evidence.
  • Almost the same thing happened to me in 2018 in Lagrange, Ga. It was ridiculous, and I’ll will always have distrust in police from then on.
  • Best visual demonstration of “driving while Black”. Sad. Disappointing. SCARY. Every abusers’ best excuse, “look what you made me do”.

  • Best practices When being pulled over.. Especially when Black 1) Go ahead and roll all windows down ahead of time (So officer can see inside clearly) 2) Have your ID out already. You never want to put your live in some cops hands by reaching around 3) put your hands on the wheel or on the door window so they clearly see your hands Those 3 things will drastically up your chances of avoiding bullshit
  • So it wasn’t just me that noticed the driver wasn’t acting erratically. I can’t speak for everyone else but the way the officers came up to the car and were acting would’ve made me nervous as well. Then when the start assuming you’re a criminal when you know your not I wouldn’t stop talking to them as well. Those two officers are part of the problem and not the solution.
  • i like how cops use peoples fear/anxiety about cops as reasonable suspicion
  • “You’re not in any trouble” while proceeds to pat him down and handcuff him. The excuse that every officer gives that its for their safety as well as yours is bs. You can tell from the moment the officers walked to the car he was nervous af and refuse to answer questions because of what could happen. Safer to be taken to prison than interacting in public. I’d give the guy a ‘B’ to an ‘A-‘, he seemed knowledgeable enough to comply, no consenting to searches, and to remain silent.
  • Sometimes I get turned off by first amendment auditors and their sometimes confrontative nature but after watching something like this, I don’t mind them being confrontative at all.
  • Oh wow. You would have thought this guy just robbed a bank and killed someone. This guy are fishing in the wrong type of water. Why do they think people would be nervous based on their history with certain people during traffic stops.
  • Its amazing that US police are micro managed by the supreme court.
  • THey pulled him over for traffic infractions, when he looks for his information they rip him out of the car and handcuff him. They are supposed to be writing him a ticket for the infractions, and letting him go. But they escalate the situation so they can hold him and delay writing him a ticket, so they can call a K9 to smell for another LARGER charge.
  • These punk cops act like this person did something to harm them I just don’t get it. Why any agency would continue to let cops like this to be employed on the force is beyond comprehension the attitude of these so-called protect and serve people is again beyond comprehension they should be fired immediately

  • I’ve had this happen to me, just cruising along I40 minding my own business, then two unmarked vehicles come flying up from nowhere and pulled me over because “they didn’t see me wearing my seat belt”. They asked for license, registration, insurance, the whole spiel, and then asked if I minded if they took a look in my car. I’m not an auditor, I just wanted out of there as soon as possible, and damn sure didn’t want dogs jumping all over my car scratching it up, so I let them look. They gave me a quick pat down, took my little pocket knife for their safety of course, and I stood there with one officer while the two others went through my car front to back. When they didn’t find anything they handed me my knife back, and let me leave without a ticket or so much as a warning, totally weird experience.

  • Profiling, unreasonable provocation, inventing reasons to escalate, escalating and entrapment. Criminals in a Halloween uniform with weapons, given way too much power. It’s only a matter of time before they needlessly take someone’s life.

  • I saw the whole video and the cops were so pissy about the guy not answering questions that they kept him cuffed, implying that they’d remove them if he answered. The guy remained silent. I get why he didn’t pursue it, not wanting the hassle, but watching the whole thing was infuriating!
  • The cops’ attitude is straight from the 1950s. Rapid fire, contradictory, hyper defensive commands. Unbelievable
  • So a question. If a dog handler and a dog have an abysmal record of accuracy on alerting on a traffic stop at what point is the dog and handler put out of commission? Is there any action you can take if a dog alerts falsely in a court of law for a violation of your 4th amendments?
  • 10:43 – The officer is holding his walkie next to the mic on his body cam so it’s hard to hear what he’s saying.
  • Pretext stops are perfectly legal. However, threatening to write tickets unless consent to search is given, that is HIGHLY illegal.
  • What’s sad is those cops left that scene thinking they did everything right. What’s even sadder is their department will likely watch the video and tell them they did everything right
  • are we just not gonna talk about the sign on that CHURCH’S door? “According to our Church policy and the Bible, it is forbidden for women and young girls to wear pants inside the sanctuary.” …EXCUSE ME?! WHAT? someone PLEASE explain this
  • “You’re not in trouble right now” means you’re in deep god damn shit.
  • Pretty damn sad. Soldiers gave their lives for this citizen their sacrifice was made in vain by those officers
  • They’re doing their job. Intimidating and keeping people in their place.
  • They will keep doing it until they’re held accountable. Shit makes me feel hopeless. Can’t believe this is where we are.
  • this wasn’t the first time they did this. i heard that getting more drug bust increases the chances of a promotion. in the future, i bet they will start “finding” more illegal substances.
  • You’re reaching around, making me nervous.” Yeah, after the LEO asked for his license and registration. Quite the lesson in cop induced escalation. Meanwhile, the driver was completely chill.
  • The cop is reading a script. He wants those words to get recorded, even if the video doesn’t match.
  • and the fact they wrote him a ticket after making him sit through ALL THAT because they were still butthurt he didn’t answer their questions smh
  • I mean, once he literally admits that it’s all a pretext, it’s over for him lol. Always remember, There is no law or infraction so minor that police will not kill you or your child over and then claim officer safety. Kind of like the 19 in Texas who allowed children to be shot at and killed for an hour, while they sat outside for “officer safety”. They even admitted in a press conference that they didn’t go in because they might be shot.
  • I’m always nervous when pulled over by police. The social gap between the areas where they are assigned to is usually big! A good police will inform you of what the pull over is for. Quit taking advantage of people who know or don’t know the law. Help us and stop reaching departments quota
  • Back in the 80’s I was pulled over daily because my girlfriend was white. They would make her get out of the car and they would tell her to go home and keep me there until she was out of sight. I wasn’t speeding or breaking any traffic laws.
  • ‘You have guns and im scared’ ‘Are they in my hands?’ Cool; then by that theory.. you shouldn’t have to cuff the driver because his guns aren’t in his hands..
  • When pulled over #1 lock your doors, #2 put your window not more than half way down — far enough to pass paperwork and communicate, #3 have your paperwork ready before the officer gets to the window, #4 do not hand them your paperwork until they articulate a legitimate reason for the stop, #5 do not open your door or put other windows down all the way. If they ask you to exit the vehicle they must be able to articulate a suspected crime “your acting funny” is not a crime anymore than “you seem nervous”.
  • These cops are very good at double talk and baited words very well rehearsed that’s why they have to cops so that the cooperate the stories along with the bated words and double talk. These guys are dangerous. These are the type of cops you got to know everything about them.
  • I fight every ticket. I won 4 in a row. Half the times the cops didn’t show up. These cops are unlikely to show up in court for a traffic ticket, because they are probably on some narcotics detail. He needed to get the video. Plead innocent. Never plead no contest.
  • The footage is from the bodycam footage of the cops, which was continuously edited, as the breaks are clearly noticeableThe footage did not show the driver’s actual violation, as would have been captured on the cop’s car dashcam… There is not any footage showing anything to the claimed traffic violation… Clearly there is a lawsuit in play, being that we are seeing this on Audit the Audit… The cops violated an array of the driver’s rights, creating false narratives and outright lying… The crooked and racist courts of that jurisdiction will drag the lawsuit… This is police gang behavior, at the expense of taxpayers.
  • I think about all the times my rights were violated when I was younger by local police and didn’t know any better.
  • Prosecutor: if you don’t take the plea, I will pursue maximum sentence. Judge: has anyone threatened you or coerced you into take this plea? Me: yes Judge, the man acting as prosecutor threatened me.
  • My god the gaslighting is insane. They fumble their speech and tell him to do a multitude of things and then accuse him of reach around? Like dude you just told him to get his papers. I hope this guy got paid.
  • im going to be honest if i was stopped by a cop who said he feels nervous with his hand on his gun id be shaking too XD

  • Dude was handcuffed sitting on curb and the cop with back up and guns was “nervous”. Duche bag cop you make the world less safe

  • He never addressed the fact that the cop open the passenger door before he had any kind of excuse or permission to do so.
  • I noticed that too. Who do they think they are?
  • And people are of the belief that this type of policing works, 1 out of every 30 stops might yield some minor crap, so 29 people were just harassed after you got one with some shakes on the mat. Needs more, this is damaging the relationship the police should have with their employer

  • Only thing I hate more than tyrants, are tyrants in training. I recommend, as do all police that I’ve ever met, doing some ride-alongs. They are free, they do a brief background check, and you get to ride shotgun. You can literally witness this garbage first hand on every average day. Just goto the station and ask if you can ride along. You could say you’re interested in the industry, etc. This was a high on himself Narcotics tyrant feeding his new little baby tyrants the routine. They literally have task forces operating and training like this daily, in damn near every city in America, EVERY DAY. When are we going to say enough is enough and let these operators be held accountable by the law they swear an oath to uphold? If you’re a rights respecting American then your argument will always hold up in court. They are allowed to, after the stop, use the legal system to unconstitutionally detain you and your life, until you misstep or they dismiss. Dismissals should reflect negatively on officers and all other agents that detained us in a probationary status of the court system. We have a right to a speedy trial and these offenses should be PENALIZED and prosecutable.
  • I have severe ptsd from dirty cops. They beat me badly causing severe brain damage while I was having a gran mal seizure and not under arrest. They paid off “my” lawfirm to never get video footage. At least I don’t have panic attacks when I see them like I did for years.

  • The moment that lawsuit money starts coming out of the police’s salary packets, is the moment that this kind of behaviour is stamped out almost overnight. If a dog gives a false alert 3 times in the space of 12 months, the dog is retired and the handler fired. Bang, no more fake alerts.

  • I’m calling BS on the officer’s comments about searching the vehicle or him just telling him where the drugs are. As I have stated previously, I have seen nearly a hundred videos in which dogs dutifully “hit” and zero drugs were found. Maybe, the videos recommended for me are skewed somehow, but I think it more likely that the dogs are utilized improperly and/or are not well trained.
  • seems like the supreme courts are leaning more and more toward law enforcement than the victim regardless of the situation
I defend good police officers because not everyone who is a law enforcement officer is a bad guy, but I hate when I see discrimination. They were essentially trying to use the traffic violations as a bargaining tool. They stated that they were not worried about worried about traffic violations but guns and drugs. I also hate the way police officers use manipulation of the law to their advantage and treat this individual like a criminal when he did not do anything to deserve the behavior that was displayed by there officers. This type of behavior is why some people have a negative view of law enforcement. I know it is time for a change in the ways that officers are allowed to behave in these circumstances. Someone very close to me has a security system with lights and cameras at their home. When I asked him why they need so much security for their house he told me that he didn’t want law enforcement officers to knock his door down and try to steal from him. Can you believe a statement like that? He worries more about police than strangers breaking in. He had his home torn a part in a raid by police for buying a quarter ounce of Marijuana from a known drug dealer. They followed him home, knocked down the door and took everything of value from him including a shoe box with 25 thousand dollars that he had been saving for 10 years to put a down payment on a home. He was never arrested for anything and had money , 2 vehicles confiscated, and his home destroyed for nothing. His court appointed lawyer(they took all his money) said to not fight this & try to get stuff back because the police would put his name on the indictment. He got bad credit from the vehicle sezuire because they were financed. So can you blame him for his attitude?

I get a laugh out of the cops that say, “you’re shaking. Why are you nervous?” Idk, maybe because ARMED men are escalating what should be a routine traffic stop for no other reason to try and pin an actual crime on me.

Seriously, cops like this drive me insane. For the record, I’m a law-abiding citizen and even I’ll admit that I get nervous during traffic stops, even though I know I’m not doing anything wrong. Why? Just because you’re innocent doesn’t mean a cop won’t try anything funny, like planting evidence. It does happen and I actually fear the long-term repercussions of such an action more so than the “in the moment.”

There’s also one more factor to consider. It was very obvious from the search that the “suspect” drives for Uber. I can say this as a former Uber driver. I have had clientele accidentally leave and spill drugs in my vehicle that I didn’t see until the end of the day when I was done driving. What would happen if I was pulled over and they ended up calling a K-9 unit? I would get in trouble for my own clientele’s illegal behavior. I did get pulled over once while driving for Uber and it was an absolute baloney stop. Officer claimed I failed to yield at a stop sign at a right turn and I called him out on it because I HAD to stop. There was oncoming traffic coming from the left and I had to wait for that vehicle to pass through the intersection. Cop let me off with a warning but honestly, if he did site me, I would’ve FOIA’d the dash cam footage and taken it to traffic court. The cop had absolutely nothing. I had a passenger at the time too and she actually felt bad for me because she knew I didn’t do anything wrong either.

  • Even better, get your own dashcam. I don’t even want to be in a situation where I have to go to the police to get information for their own infractions.
  • I understand the officers in this situation were the ones in the wrong, but I do wish people would say, “I’d like to invoke my right to remain silent” (or something of the sort) rather than, “I don’t answer questions” in situations like these.
  • My friend is terrified of the police. She got into trouble when she was younger, that over a decade ago. The because of the bad experiences she had with police in the past, she shakes when she sees the police. When she got into an accident early this, she was shaking when the police came to question her. She did nothing wrong and did not get ticket for the crash. She was shaken the whole day.
  • These cops have a script to a tee. To get people out of the car, dude didn’t do anything wrong at all. What bull. Sniff this 🍑
  • Police often use nervousness as evidence of guilt but they induce the nervousness and should appreciate that. They clearly wanted to search his car. Imagine being handcuffed for improperly changing lanes. The dogs always hit, just the same way roadside drug tests often produce unreliable results. All of this stuff stems from our country needing to decriminalize several drugs.
  • Had a similar situation in winter springs fl way back about 2004. Florida is also a no tolerance state. But no open container charge.
  • 1:43, The Police just Committed a Crime. Assault. Assault is Defined as ANY UNWANTED PHYSICAL CONTACT. and they placed their hands on the victim and REMOVED HIM by force from his car because he was NOT permitting the officers to do a UNLAWFUL SEARCH of his Vehicle.

Cop Tries To Harass Black College Student But Gets Owned And Taught The Law

I’m convinced the first rule in the cop handbook is “Never admit fault.”
You’re being “hostile” when you don’t let them violate your rights. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Classic.
Calling the man “creepy” trying to insult him to get a rise, top quality police
As a former Union Agent representing law enforcement I can say without a doubt most of my time was taken up by officers or deputies that have taken their authority and abused it in this same manner. They harass the wrong person and that triggers a formal complaint to Internal Affairs. And bingo we have a professional law enforcement officer on leave pending investigation. In this specific instance this officer isn’t enforcing the law, he’s enforcing his ego.
It’s shocking how the officer picks on him and so many students are walking by in the video at 2am in the morning.
The male cop says the black man being out at that time of the night is odd, yet several people walk by at different times during the interaction. College students are always out at all times of the night!
The fact that the couple falsely accuses him of being hostile shows that this is something they do to try to justify their next deadly action
“You we’re hiding in the bushes” at what point was he hiding in the bushes lol!
This young man was not behind the bushes, he was in plain sight. And while I’m watching this there’s so many people out and about walking around at two whatever in the morning. They just want to harass him. I’m proud of this young man for standing his ground.
He wanted to arrest him so bad “when you’re going to jail it is gonna be real funny
“I don’t know why you’re being so difficult” “I don’t know why you’re trying to violate my rights”
Notice… this man played him… and didn’t say a SINGLE curse word… didn’t cuss him out or nothing. Just taught him a BIG lesson!
This is a perfect example of cops sticking up for cops even when they know they are wrong. And she is a sergeant. Both of them should be fired for harassing a member of the public.
Much respect to the Brother keeping his cool and demonstrating how the police will lie and still keep their jobs.
I wish we could see them driving away. The UNCG code of conduct is online. It took me 1 minute to search for identification. Nowhere does it say you have to produce ID except in a hearing.
It makes me sick when police start pulling that “get your hands out of your pockets” bull sht.
You know when a cop either says here’s how it’s going to go or here’s the deal, that they are about to violate your rights
It might be beneficial to us all if Cops actually had a collage education.
If he didn’t have that camera running it would have gone a completely different way. ALWAYS RECORD any involvement with LEOs.
“We The People” Seeing an ex cop run this channel appropriately is proof that people that stand up for their rights aren’t anti goverment. Just “Pro, good government “ Cool channel.
You see how he assumed he wasn’t a student, I wonder why? Smh
I like the part where the officer says “if a school administrator asks for your ID, you must provide it”. He’s not a f-ckin administrator.
I think he did the right thing by getting back in front of his camera for his protection
>> Definitely! Especially, when that cop started lieing and said ” Take your hands out of your pockets “, trying to set up a defense for doing something to him! I’m glad the young man recognized what he was trying to do!

>> I agree when the cop started saying keep your hands out your pockets off camera who knows what would of happened. He was walking backwards to his car..lol ..WTF what a !!COWARD

>> Absolutely! I was getting concerned about that also. That cop definitely tried to begin a narrative the he was doing something, anything wrong. Kudos for following through bru!
The crazy thing about some of these cops is they have gotten away with things like this in the past. If it wasnt on camera he would have been arrested and the story would have been different. you see how he stated you were in the bushes, what “THESE” people do at times. Not all, not all, but a lot of them. It’s in them
My handsome black brother,👏🏾 thank you for standing on right. That man who calls himself a cop, is a joke. I hope this gets seen by all my black brothers who don’t know their rights and learns them to stop this tyranny in this country. Great job!
Kudos to this guy! I thoroughly enjoyed watching him calmly and confidently exercising his rights! It sucks that the supervisor that showed up couldn’t just admit the first cop was wrong and just leave this guy alone. This is another good reason why cops get a bad wrap.
It’s hard to stand your ground sometimes, especially if you have things to do, they will argue with you for hours instead of just saying they’re wrong and letting you go.
It is so scary to see this. If the supervisor didnt show up in time he could have been both tasered and arrested on false accusations.
Hate when cops ask “why are you being difficult?”! He is being difficult because you are trying to violate his 4th amendment rights and you’re abusing your power in a situation where you have no authority. Also, school policy (code of conduct) doesn’t trump the constitution, he doesn’t need to show ID even if the cop found the “code”.
This is probably the best video I’ve seen of this type. He successfully made the cops look like a complete clown. “Keep your hands out of your pockets” he should be fired just for that.
It’s wonderful that the brother knew his rights, but he shouldn’t have gone back and forth with the cop, because some cops would’ve concocted some fictitious story, and felt threatened based on the argument which could’ve led to the young man being killed. The brother has the recording which will serve as permissible evidence in Court, or to the Dean/Student Affairs, provide the handbook to the proper representatives at the institution showing the bylaws causing him to lose his job, and lastly file a harassment suit. I’ve seen black men who know the law, and are in law school encounter this same problem, but you just have to think about things from a precautionary standpoint. I was in this same situation, and took legal action based on my understanding of the law. I received a settlement, and the officer was demoted three times, and fired once I spoke and sufficient evidence was provided to substantiate my claim.
Has a cop ever talked without lying? Non-stop lies from beginning to end. Tyrant.
These public officials seem to be drunk on their perceive authority. Thank goodness for the first amendment auditors that bring the ignorance of these public servants to the forefront for all to see.
Love how there’s literally a truck full of ppl in the back and this is the person he choose to harass. Just pathetic and unacceptable
Good job. Lots of NC folk comply with Law Enforcement whether they’re right or wrong especially if they (the citizen) is black. I encourage everyone to exercise their rights but most won’t , even the young (I’m 55) but I’m glad this brother did…
Cops love to say “why you so hostile?” Lmao okay dude.
I’m pro law enforcement but both cops were fighting for dominance and their behavior was strictly driven by their ego. The student gets a grand slam as he handled this perfectly, wittingly, humorously and very smoothly. Nice job!
I love this guy, he knows his shit! Cops need to learn, sometimes, just walk away and drop it, it is not worth the fight.
The funny part is you’re going to leave either way” bro, that got me so good!
That young man clowned him and took away his perceived authority while having fun with it. The point is the young man knew the laws and his rights. He had a quick counter for everything officer ” I’m going to assert some authority on you ” presented.
It’s sad to see and hear in almost all of these cases the sheer amount of ego hunting and zero intelligence of the letter of the law!
How sick our these control freaks?
I love when cops say “why are you been difficult” when they are violating your rights. A good cop that covers or standby for a bad cop is as bad.
5:18 “I don’t know why you’re being so hostile.” I really hate it when they pull these petty moves.
Why is it that the police find it impossible to just go without giving advice or attempting to get you to comply with something!😂
Another cop that doesn’t know the laws he’s supposed to upload but harrasses and makes up lies to justify trying to violate this mans right to record in public. The lady cop is just as wrong for attempting to back her fellow officer and they should both be charged with harrassment, or any other violation we can make up…like they do.
Cop “I‘m trying to help you out” how is trying to get his ID and threatening to arrest him helping him out?
He really really wanted to take him to jail he would do anything to take him to jail if this man was not recording he would be in jail and I’m 95% sure that that officer fabricate as much lies as he possibly can to keep this man in jail just because he was “defiant“ he was doing what he should challenge the law in the correct way what a looser
So the sergeant comes and explains that everything he’s doing is perfectly legal with the photography and all but then she starts the cops explaining. Then she starts the bullying. I need you to move over here 20 ft over here so that you’re on a different property even though it’s all public property but I have to flex my muscles and tell you what to do otherwise you’re a free person walking around in a free area and we certainly cannot have that.
Shout out to the brother. I hope he’s still safe and standing up for our rights! ✊🏾 And ffs 2am is early on a college campus on the weekend. Clearly a big party or event just happened.
The pettiness is what really got me.
Police officers often enjoy to assert their power and more often than not, they end up looking foolish while attempting to violate citizens rights.
There was nothing hostile about this young man. He just knew his rights. Police are never on your side and will use your information against you.
Man bro I love when cops get taught the law they’re supposed to know then try to pull the power play move
This is extremely frightening to me how uneducated the officers are.
The amount of ignorance in these LEOs…..astonishing, yet sadly not unexpected.
Now She’s doing the “Police Culture ” Thing by trying to save face and be in Authority!😔🙄
I think it’s funny when these cops say, I’m telling you, no matter what you must obey!
Lmao I love how this dude laughs at how stupid situation that he’s in. Full Respect XD
I love how they try to grab control of the situation when they have been upped! We know why he was stopped. Look, I don’t have time to argue with a rent-a-cop, either arrest me or leave me the hell alone. My mans said he was “behind the bushes.” LMAO
This was beyond beautiful! Bravo to this young man! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Racial profiling. Glad I saw this, I live in NC… very familiar with the campus. I’ll be sure not to allow my daughter transfer here. I was worried the boss would be in the same bs and she was…. The first officer was a straight up liar like most of them are…trust me I know. Just separated from NCDPS. Wicked and corrupt bunch of people.
Cop is a butt-hurt liar. He said he would “arrest” him if he didn’t ID, and yet NO ID, no arrest.
I love the fact that you always remind people to learn their rights. I’m gonna go review right now matter of fact. Would I have left? Prolly… Fact is the police terrify me. I’ve been afraid of the police since I was six years old. I’ve been living in a nation under terror for thirty years. The problem is, in a court of law, the police are automatically above any suspicion, as though police are never criminals. The police almost never report crimes committed by other members of law enforcement, and there were even police that actually operated as a gang. Gang mentality needs to go. Get it out of America. How? Get rid of stupid laws. Legalization of most drugs requiring addicts seek their drugs from a federally mandated facility where no one will ever overdose, no poison will be in the drugs and tax dollars can be collected instead of spent locking them up. Furthermore addicts would be exposed to narcotics anonymous literature et cetera, and drugs would become affordable so crime would decrease further. Hands and mobs, having nothing to sell, would be forced to go back to gambling, rackets etc, or go out of business altogether. So locking people for drug addiction and start treating them. They’re just people who either want to party, or are suffering. Why is that illegal? If we followed the letter of the law every single American would spend several lifetimes in prison. The average American commits three felonies EVERY DAY without even realizing it.
I don’t know why you’re being so difficult and hostile” “You’re behind the bushes” “Student code of conduct says to provide your ID”. The mental gymnastics of police officers is crazy.
Both the cop and sergeant didn’t know the law. Mind boggling as to how they think that they can manipulate the law and try to threaten him with an arrest. Gosh this student was one articulate, brave and fierce guy. He just had no time for their bullshit.
Great video. I laughed several times – especially when he kept asking if the cop was mad.
It would have been absolutely perfect if dude ended up letting the cop know he was studying to be a civil rights attorney. Lmao. Oh man that would have been perfect!
The Cop “knows” he’s right, yet 1st he said the Man, or according to Cops, the “Suspect”, wasn’t a student, then, he said he was, then he said he knew the Law, Yet, at NO time, did he arrest the “Suspect”. 2 Cops for about a half hour, for a DEADLY situation, like this. We don’t have enough of these Brave Heroes out there, and we Clearly need to Hire more.
Great video!!!! Can you do a video explaining what would happen in this same exact case if the officer decided to push his authority and falsely arrest him? What would this young man go through after being arrested? A ride to jail and time wasted seeing a judge that decides he was in the right over the officer? And then what most likely would happen to the officer for not knowing the law and possibly just knowing a policy that has no weight to the law?
“Either way you’re gonna get in your car and leave” , had me LOL.. You crushed em dude. Good going!
What a wonderful young man. They really are relentless lying demons and they took so much of his time. Harassment, absolute harassment, they really should be punished for this.
So when you disagree with a cop you’re being difficult even though the cop is wrong and you were right.
Are these real cops? Or rental cops? The “lady cop” is reaching, by telling him where he can and can not film. These cops need to look for the real bad guys!! Go away little cops, go away!!!!! Lol!!! He states he is not “mad”!!!
It is so nice and refreshing to live in a country where you can walk, drive any time night or day and the cops would not stop you and ask for I D,even when they stop you for traffic violation they dont demand you to get out of the car and handcuffs you..
No matter how much these cops get proven wrong. They can’t help themselves but they give some kind of directive, they have to boss somebody around and express their perceived authority onto others. And if we don’t listen they get so butt hurt
How hard is it for cops to just walk away and say have a nice day? Children just refuse to be wrong
Cops keep referring to the school’s Code of Conduct, but initially the first officer demanded to see his I.D. when he assumed that the man “wasn’t” a student !
Officer: “ it’s strange to be out here at 2:00 in the morning”
30 other people proceed to walk by.
The sad part is he really wanted him to go to jail for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! I hope his superior reprimanded him

He called the cops bluff when he said, he was going to arrest him. The cop back peddled, and tried a different tactic. Good for this man for standing up for his rights. The extraordinary length these cops go to, to have some measure of control over this man is ridiculous!
I love when people excercing their rights is not cooperating and being suspicious. It’s not a law no matter what. It’s code of conduct. You know they’d just arrest if they were right.
Be very careful of the advice you give on this platform! Being correct and surviving are not always synonymous! He was lucky…. to be on University property and a University student. What if someone in this comment section attempt to do the same thing except there are no witnesses around? Potentially end imprisoned on false charges or dead. YES… Stand up for your rights…but be smart about it. If you know your rights are being violated, and you’re recording…. COMPLY with the Officer… and get home safe!!! THEN get in contact with an attorney and file charges against the Officers involved AND the department. You will not win on the side of the road….let the attorney win in court!!!
>> Now that Officer did violate that students 4th Amendment Rights. The Sgt. Knew her Officer was wrong…and she still tried to cover for him. Comply…make it home alive… then contact an attorney. That’s the smartest approach.
When a cop tries to get someone to move a few feet it’s about one thing, control. Honestly, in this case what does it matter other than ego?
Clown tried to frame the guy outside of the view of the camera by asking him to stand outside of the view while insinuating that the man had something dangerous in his hands.
Legend has it that the cop is still out there looking for the rule to this day..
So, do rights go away after a certain time of the night? Am I ok to film from 7am to 9pm but 9pm to 7am it’s against the law?? It is SO scary how many cops don’t know the laws they are supposed to enforce.
“We’re definitely not trying to violate your rights, we just really want to violate your rights.” – Female cop.
The cop was difficult, but tells the student he’s being difficult. What an a hole.
It would be so nice if the public was allowed to question these cops and their superiors in public on camera for everyone to see and hear, as to why they do what they do , why they violate peoples rights , why they lie , why they cover up and their superiors should answer to why they just get pushed around from one precinct to the next and they’re not dealt with especially when they have so many complaints and their superiors should also answer the question as to why these cops are never properly trained and that the public knows more about the law more then the cops do…
As a white woman, I don’t know all these rights either. I’ve been stopped many times too…. BUT I’m always compliant. I believe you live longer that way. On the other hand, not knowing our rights is why we have lost SO many of our freedoms. Kudos to knowing your rights!!!
Police officer: I don’t understand why you’re being hostile/difficult. Translation: I don’t understand why you’re not allowing me to violate your rights.
The officer said that he was hiding behind a bush.He was standing out front on the sidewalk, even the cop noticed that before he got out of his car.Wow smh
He still violated his 4th amendment right when he looked in his bag. 🤦🏾‍♂
It blows my mind how many officers use that “why you being difficult” when a person quotes his rights and stands up to the cops tyrant ways!
Standing up for your rights is hostile Standing up for your rights is being difficult
I’ll be honest with you years ago I would have just shown my ID and been bullied but nowadays after watching Auditors and videos like this I have learned a lot and I appreciate it. no more getting bullied by the cops and record everything and don’t talk to them. Thanks
Guy approaches a man minding his own business, demands he leave, demands he ID, demands he explain himself, accuses him of hiding “behind bushes” and of possibly being a sexual assaulter… Then questions why he’s so hostile.
🤣 she tried to at least get one up on him. “You have to stand over here for us.” Umm no I don’t. Haha Well done. 👏🏽
This student stood his ground and left unscathed. It makes me wonder if he is in his United States or North Korea. This overreach by cops needs to be corrected..their threats of arrest are limiting freedom of movement of law abiding citizens. Unless there is a law enforced curfew you cannot stop a person from being out of his/her home/place of residence at any time. This is control without consent.
At the school I attended COC did indeed list showing your student I.D. to security and cops. Nevertheless, there’s a lot of people walking back and forth, so how is he unusual or suspicious? Besides, why sets up a camera on a main road if you intends to commit a crime?
The officer backed up like he was going to be attacked. The SKIN COLOR of the student to the officer is a threat. The officer is TROUBLE.
2 years to become a hairdresser, 6 months to become a cop. What do you expect
This is why there are so many innocent people in prison. Thank God everyone has a camera now to record their own evidence.
” we are definitely not trying to violate your rights” while we keep demanding your papers
I love how when they’re talking a group of people across the street are walking by you can’t make this shit up
Cops in the USA seem to confuse a hunch with suspicion, something your supreme courts have actually described in various rulings very specifically to be different, what the difference is and why it matters. Im European and even I know that.
Kudos to this young man however he could have exercised his 5th Amendment right to not talk to the police. What boggles my mind are campus cops who think a state university, with an ELECTED board of Regents, like a city council, is private property or as if it’s somehow restricted. With VERY few exceptions a public university’s campus sidewalks and streets are always open to the public. That university sidewalk IS A PUBLIC SIDEWALK and ignorant cops like this one doesn’t have the authority to kick someone off a public sidewalk.
This was a great project. It basically shows how the ego of the average cop won’t let them admit when there wrong and how there training and initiation for the suppose greater good has failed when the other cop cared more about protecting the other cops feelings over the rights of others (the greater good)
Scariest thing is the baseless warnings the two cops kept hurling at this student and they kept telling him that he did something wrong even though they knew that they had absolutely no “Reasonable – Articulable- Suspicion”. Both of these cops are on ego trips. End Qualified Immunity Nationally Now!

(VIDEO) Cop Admits To Finding Reasons To Pull People Over

This police officer not only admits to abusing her power, but seems proud to do this. Entitlement like this is exactly why we need police reform, and Jeff Wiggins breaks it down on Rebel HQ.

Comments

Translation: “(While Im on duty, Im going to break laws when I want to. If you are in the way of me breaking the law, I will find a way to give you a citation and cost you money and time)”

Nothing to see here folks. She took a course for a few weeks and earned herself a shiny badge so never mind the fact that she is literally here on video telling you she doesn’t understand the law and will actually violate your rights and the law on a whim… its, thin blue line and all that fun stuff so…. yeahhhh. You’re the bad guy if you come across her.

We all know this already. Does this really shock anyone?

So she’s under investigation for telling the truth? As more than one cop has said. “If I follow you long enough, you’ll do something that I can pull you over for”.
No body has to get out of a cops way unless the lights and siren is on. Other then that you have to wait in line like everyone else. There is no law saying a person has to get out of a cops way simply because they are a cop. She is just showing her corrupt privilege.
In Las Vegas they’re over 12,000 NRS laws from big too small. They can pull you over because they can’t see your license plate is not illuminated enough or there’s something hanging in your rearview mirror.
How I understood it. People get arrested because the cops are pissed because when no action is going on, they demand that everybody goes out of their way, gives them special privilege like a king, and when this will not happen then they become so angry on a citizen who done nothing wrong, that they swipe them from the streets? That is just sick to know that the USA doesn’t have a decent police force. Just a lot of bullies who behave like shitty spoiled fashist brats.
The focus needs to be on the departments as well as officers. Whenever a officer gets caught doing exactly what they were trained to do by their department all focus is on the officer. I’m not saying the officer isn’t to blame but an independent agency needs to inspect the department. The department simply points the finger and continues to train incoming officers to do the same thing
“I can go 90 mph. You can’t.” The part she doesn’t say: “because if my reckless driving causes an accident I get to blame it on you.”
At least in my state, it’s illegal for a cop to pull you over if they have followed you for more than 1 mile.
See these so called hardcore muthaphuckas will pick on law abiding citizens getting off on a power trip. But those real ganstas who walk around with nothing to lose they leave them alone. Oh no they dont have the courage to mess with criminals they just mess with civilians.
This thing should find another career. LE attracts so many undesirables.
This cop is so full of shit she can’t go faster than you, unless she is on an emergency call and yes you have to move over but if she wants lunch and she’s breaking the law by speeding to pick up her lunch order or going home, she can be charge and ticketed. Police or any other law enforcement officers are not above the law.
Police: We can break the law but you can’t!
This is common knowledge, the power hungry ego maniacs – it’s nothing to do with the law or helping society
The POLICE…. “Get the f#ck out our way” … pretty much.
Money has corrupted our justice system. There’re financial reasons to find excuses to issue tickets. There’re a financial reasons cops have to fill up private prisons and look for any excuse to throw someone in jail.
A cop being “Under Investigation” is just cop-speak for “we’re all giggling about it in the break room.”

That cop knew he was caught and stupidly thought he could turn it around for a stupid ass ticket. Ridiculous. Hope something is done about those tryants. And that sign goes right back up. Unfrikenbelivable
This video shows how cops lie with no worries about getting in trouble even with the camera recording them lie. That’s why qualified immunity and police unions need to go. Citizens need more accountability for bad cops.

Cop attacks, unlawfully detains, is out of jurisdiction citing people and doing all sorts of shady stuff, but it’s the citizen who’s being “hostile”. Well, everybody needs to be “hostile” towards these pignorant tyrants.

I love when they call you “confrontational” for “confronting” them for their bs.

“I don’t know what a retaliation ticket is.” Literally every word out of cops is a lie. EVERY. WORD.
Please sue! Totally retaliation and illegal. On a side note; I have never seen a cop so obviously scared. The embarrassment he will recieve from this alone should make him resign. I bet even his boyfriend will dump him over this. But Erie Fam should get PAID!
He needs to press criminal charges on these officers for assault. They attacked him multiple times in the video for no reason. Absolutely disgusting.
Talk about moving the goal post mid-game. 😂
Why, are cops allowed to lie all the time???
Nothing speaks to guilty behavior like destroying evidence —like removing entire city boundary signs.
Obviously it was the police that cut the sign. If it was municipal road maintenance, they would not have left the dangerous and sharp stubs sticking up. Sharp stubs hidden in the vegetation at the end of a sidewalk, perfect for a child to fall on and seriously hurt themselves. Even in construction sites, we put bright orange plastic ‘mushrooms’ over the ends of rebar to prevent injury. This is totally irresponsible and a huge liability issue.
If the cop was so afraid of someone “he doesn’t know” coming up to him, why did he exit his car? This cop is a coward who uses the protection of the state to act tough.
Chestnuts News called and left a message for the Chief of Police of Hamburg. Much to his surprise he actually returned his call. He said that officer Sullivan was completely out of line for
1) sitting outside Hamburg,
2) not de-escalating the situation,
3) writing retaliatory tickets against a journalist who caught him breaking the law.
He said he doesn’t know what happened to the Welcome to Hamburg sign, his investigation will include looking to see if any cameras at area businesses might have caught the sign removal, and in fact he was going there right after his phone call to go out there to see if it got dumped on the side. He said he was going to require officer Sullivan to take remedial training on de-escalation skills as well as making sure other officers are aware of the 100 foot rule (not 100 yards). He said none of his officers should be going outside the city limits unless it’s absolutely necessary. He asked what is going to happen to AEC’s retaliatory ticket and he said he was going to get with the DA to see if they can get it dismissed before court date. He said I have to say I’m really impressed with this Chief. He was open, humble, and he seemed to be honest. He said if he discovered that someone inside the department removed the sign they would be fired and charged with theft.
  • Providing he’s not BSing you
  • Would like a follow-up on this incident and Chief of Police of Hamburg
  • My suggestion is for us not to hold our breaths while we wait for our servant to be true to his word. Just saying…
Cutting down the sign is misprision of evidence. Depose whatever the local equivalent of the public works department is. Someone has committed a felony. They won’t face criminal consequences, but it will cement the city’s civil liability.
A valuable LESSON to ALL AUDITORS in this video is: ALWAYS do a nice, steady, slooow, 360* pan more than once during a video (maybe zoomed in just a little depending on distances involved) of the entire area. WHY? Well in this video, such a careful, clear, slow 360* scan would have clearly cemented WHERE exactly the cop’s car was sitting and which WAY it was facing, WHERE exactly the auditor’s truck was sitting (it could have/should have been parked several feet more away from the road as THERE WAS NO SIDEWALK THERE (who else caught that right away when they headed for his truck?) and it would have clearly shown the CITY LIMIT SIGN existence and location in relation to the cop’s car, the auditor’s truck, etc. Details being recorded OFTEN DO MATTER in these audit videos, and…the camera can only see what it is pointed at and focused on during the recording of the video.
What did you expect for him to do/say, “You’re right, I’m sorry, I’ll move along.?” The police do not have the ability to admit they’re wrong even when they’re on video. It’s Sad, pathetic,
and oh so common! FTP! Keep up the good work my man.
Who’s the “bad cop” here? Answer: It’s the 2 other officers on scene that did nothing to stop and deescalate the unlawful detention. They knew their fellow officer was wrong and they didn’t stop him.
He actually said “sneak up on me”. Broad daylight with a camera… That’s an admission of poor situational awareness. Acting like a tough guy but scared of every citizen interaction. Every department policy claims to be professional and courteous when interacting with the community… I have yet to see this expected behavior from the police.
he is going to leave him in cuffs until he “copsplains and gets him to comply” If the cop thinks everyone he meets is a dangerous person he needs to get a new line of work.
11:00The reason I need your ID is because you were walking in traffic“, he said it – therefore he has to own it. Was he in traffic? I didn’t see it. Hmmm……. yeah, no he’s lying, maybe because it’s starting to dawn on him just how much trouble he’s getting into. Why else would he manufacture BS. IMO there are many cops that still think this is a noble job… yeah, they push that or this line, but they still think it’s respected. What they don’t realize is that the train left the station a few years ago…. that’s over. All you’re doing today is just perpetuating the bad label. Here is another classic case.
I wonder why they removed the sign if they had “clear” jurisdiction? I wonder how the neighboring city feels about the revenue theft on their side? Is this another gang war brewing? So many questions.
How do they even have jurisdiction within 100 feet? This is clearly not “Hot Pursuit”…
This cop knew from the get-go that he was busted. I think that he felt that he could intimidate his way out of the situation, but he failed at that also. He reached into his bag of lies and came up with “Walking in the street, then it was demanding ID for illegally parked. His fellow officers should have put the choke collar on him by then, but that did not happen, so they should be named in the lawsuit as well. This poor excuse for an officer needs to be taken down a few notches and get some mandatory retraining.
He wanted his name to try to get the upper hand. It was like this, “Ok, you know I’m writing tickets outside my jurisdiction, but now you also know that I know who you are”. It was a failed attempt to make AEC think twice about making a big deal about what he found him doing.
That’s such a dangerous hazard they created. I can imagine destroying my legs not seeing the sharp metal sticking up.
Corruption at its finest! 6:40 Assault charges! 2nd assault 8:30 this dude has lost his job and is the reason his town is going to pay out big time. Phone call made…..They hung up on me! Guess they don’t want an explanation on what retaliatory policing is. I didn’t even get to Ask about the Sign 🙁
This dude’s a local hero. Our news media tries to make him look bad. And they just get roasted
what a crooked lil leprechaun. and loved how the auditor stayed on topic. Cop had to push him to make it seem like he was in the road. What a scared little piggy. Had to call for back up to write a ticket? And I might be wrong, but was he illegally park? Looked like an easement to me
I would love to hear a cop tell a judge they have jurisdiction outside their jurisdiction. Maybe it’s time that someone request all car dash cam and look at every ticket they write. Find a bunch of illegal tickets and watch so many others get dismissed, plus being able to ask cops if their fellow officers illegally write ticket and the officers will have to say yes
The most aggressive meter maid I’ve ever seen and he’s a jerk 👎
Something seems illegal when he, the cop, solicited a deal that if the citizen would give up one of his rights then he would take him ‘out of cuffs’.
Just remember, when seconds count, the police are only 77 minutes away.
That is a very good point about them issuing parking tickets all the time and they don’t need anybody’s ID to do it.
The officers that stand by and watch these retaliation actions or join in are every bit as guilty and should be disciplined
Get rid of qualify immunity with solved most of all these incidents. Cops would automatically act better if they had to pay the court fine for breaking the law
Lesson 1
Walking up to a Cop and asking a question is considered “being confrontational” this coming from a man that spends everyday walking up to people and encroaching on them even being grabby at times all i kept hearing from the Cop was I don’t know,,,,this is what someone with a low iq and zero trainning says….Cop clearly needs to go back to trainning,,,,he got lying and thuggery down, now how about juristdictions
If AEC confronted him with lunch and coffee, that wouldn’t be a problem. Instead AEC confronted him with QUESTIONS!! GASP! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Asking questions is anti-police
And this is why I shook the NY dust off my feet and moved to Florida. NY was so corrupt I couldn’t stand living there
Is it possible to call there DOT to see if they cut the sign? If not then report it to the DOT and start an investigation for Vandalism, they should put the sign back up.
1:04 Jumping out of his vehicle in full tactical gear while only on traffic duty tells you everything you need to know about this blue line clown.
“I need your ID to write you a parking ticket,” said no parking enforcement person, ever.
I have no clue why cops thinks moving/removing signs actually changes the official jurisdiction lines. My father was career law enforcement and told me about a particularly dangerous intersection on the very edge of the county. People would often crash into the county line sign. The officers hated having to respond to accidents so far out in the hills, so each time the sign got knocked down they would knowingly reinstall it on the other side of the intersection in an attempt to make the neighboring county have to respond to the next accident. Both counties would move the sign back and forth in an attempt to shirk responding to the accidents. It got to the point neither county knew their actual jurisdiction boundaries.
11:12 their game of demanding id has always been nothing but a power shift. They know full well that they actually have zero lawful authority to go hands on or compel for “violations”….they are hiding behind legislation that they willfully interpret incorrectly because it gives them the backing needed to survive the balance that is their buddy club, the courts. Too bad they didn’t study those oaths before going on their career as a fishing road pirate…
12:06 “Here’s the thing, in the future if you want to come up and talk to me or any other officer, [get ready for a retaliatory ticket and some intimidation tactics because I DO NOT want you to interact with me]”
9:11 “Because of the fact that you’re so hostile with me … [I’m going to ignore all the laws I personally broke and pretend that you’re the problem here].”
Them removing the sign is great for you it proves intent…That’s the hardest element to prove

WV Trooper Walks in House and Demands to be Sued

This morning I received multiple links and copies of this video that’s been circulating, showing a West Virginia State Trooper, in what appears to be inside a family’s home without a warrant. Apparently it was originally posted to Tik Tok, and then removed for some reason. It appears to involve a police response to a church traffic cone, which resulted in the homeowner apparently banging on the church’s door at some point. This trooper shows up, walks in the guy’s home, admittedly without a warrant, and without permission. Then the trooper makes a move on the phone, followed by some sort of altercation at the end. Here’s the video, then I’ll address some legal issues which I see.

Is a warrant required? If not, is there an applicable exception?

That right there is a prime example why qualified immunity should not exist.

You can see what the problem is, this trooper doesn’t care about being sued because it won’t come out of his pocket. We need to change that… also he doesn’t think he will ever lose his job for doing this, he thinks the blue line will back him up…. We need to change that

Remember he acted this way knowing he was being recorded! Can only imagine what he’s done when not being recorded
This Trooper not only needs to be terminated and never work as a law enforcement officer again he also needs to be charged with the appropriate crimes and prosecuted. His lack of self control is a danger to citizens as well as his fellow law enforcement officers. My bet is this Trooper has a long list of complaints against him. Probably some pretty interesting body camera recordings in this guys history as well. A good start would be a public records request for this Troopers IA summary and then go from there.
I am a retired cop and I can tell you this, he broke the law. He has no business serving the public, he is a danger to his co workers and the public. I hope this homeowner pursues both criminal a civil action. If I knew where to donate money to see this coward dealt with I would. I am speechless… Sick man. If he entered my house like that he would be leaving in a body bag! Says he stated his name and badge number, he only stated his name and couldn’t even do that in a discernible way. CIVIL RIGHTS LAWYER PLEASE KEEP US POSTED.
This is every cop in the whole state of west va…… I was born there…. I grew up there…. I left there 15 years ago because I got real tired of fighting corrupt murderous police…. They do what they want, when they want and there is nothing u can do about it…. U can sue a department and 15 mins after the trial is over the cop is on the sidewalk outside the courthouse whaling on you with a nightstick screaming stop resisting….. u can sue the same department over the same officer multiple times and they don’t get fired…. They don’t get reprimanded…. Nothing happens to them…… they will break into your house, shoot and kill you (like they have 3 members of my family), they will take their 15 days paid leave and be right back on the street with no fear of anything actually happening to them
That officer is completely unhinged. If yelling puts him on tilt this bad he’s definitely in the wrong business.
This state trooper is a criminal who deliberately breaks the law and believes that the law does not apply to him. He should not only be dismissed but also imprisoned. He is a permanent danger to society.
Imagine the audacity of telling someone in their home they aren’t going to raise their voice to you .
“I walked in your house because I don’t want to get shot.” WTF. This officer is a danger to the public. How the hell do these cops think they can behave this way? Enough.
This “officer” needs to be criminally charged. He forces his way into another’s house with no legal grounds, threatens the homeowners, and attacks them. He should be charged with at least trespass, assault, and battery in addition to the civil suit.
Whenever a citizen points out to a cop he’s breaking the law, why does he always respond “I’m not playing this game?” Suddenly TAKING PEOPLE’S FREEDOM AWAY IS A GAME.
They will protect this cop. A judge will say that they didn’t tell him to leave strong enough and he was in fear for his safety. The judges, cops, and prosecutors all work together (along with some public defenders). The corruption is so thick.
If a citizen couldn’t defend themselves with a weapon in a situation like this, the 2nd amendment is useless.
this trooper obviously has anger and rage issues! not only was this guy’s rights violated, he also assaulted him! if there were broken bones involved, then i believe that makes it felonious assault!
“We have investigated ourselves and – as usual and as expected – have found no wrongdoing.” – Every Police Force in America
If only the police unions were the ones paying… not the taxpayers.
He lost it, let his ego control every stupid word that he spouted ! If this is how he can behave on camera in someone else’s home , imagine when there’s no camera or witnesses 😳 absolutely dangerous to the public. Needs counseling anger management and fired ! Lawsuit will be paid by the taxpayers, we need to abolish qualified immunity for all government positions PERIOD!🤙🏼✌💜
When an officer enters a home by himself, without a warrant, and without your permission…#1 he is NOT scared of getting shot #2 it’s perfectly reasonable to assume that he is there for no good, possibly to rob you #3 He wants you to react in the same way that any one else would act towards an intruder so that he can use it as an excuse to beat you up or shoot you.
His name was Trooper Wiseman! please spread the word. we as citizens need to speak up against this tyrant and not sit idly by.
“You came down here, pounding on the Church door. Acting like a fool.” – Oh the irony
It’s clear by the cops actions that he knows it’s unlikely he’ll be disciplined or that being sued will result in any personal damages. When law enforcement operate with impunity in this way, after the fact law suits and case law become irrelevant, as do any protections a constitution is supposed to bring. When such behaviour including intimidation, physical violence and an inherent threat to life are in process, the only reasonable response to these actions by the state, is the threat of deadly force by the home owner and their agents, without fear of retaliation. This is why for true freedom to exist, the integrity of the home and the sanctuary it brings must be paramount to any and all actions by law enforcement other than (perhaps) those pursuant to the immediate preservation of life.
I find it amazing with the media coverage including social media that gets these type scenarios out in the public and thousand see them, that they continue to occur. Surely LEO management see and know this stuff is happening? Are the hapless to prevent it? Are they indifferent to preventing it because “its part of doing business” or we are too dumb to learn different? What’s going to happen when people have had the “collective enough”?
I love the fact that he says, good go sue. He is admitting that he knows it illegal to enter the home. What a dangerous trooper! Please bring this video to light in his county, he needs to be fired and charged.
This cop is the definition of a power tripping cop. Let’s hope the home owner gets a very large settlement both against the police and the individual.
IMO the other deputy is just as guilty for not stepping up and attempting to calm the situation down or tell his partner to chill out. Just hanging back while these people were assaulted and treated like dirt says a lot about him as well . He’s a little coward! I wonder if he purposely stayed in the doorway, not actually stepping foot inside, because he knew it was illegal and didn’t wanna get into trouble for entering.
This is exactly the type of person who seeks this profession, someone who craves harassing people. Working under his own rules and couldn’t care less about the law or their policy. After exposing this clown this should be immediate termination!
Here’s my question and I think it is a important one. Presuming that the law enforcement officer in this situation is either a city cop or a state trooper: could you and should you call the county sheriff to make a criminal report of breaking and entering and assault ? It seems to me that it would be a legitimate claim and it would have to be handled just like any other assault or B&E and the county sheriff would be obligated to follow due process. Even if it was within the city limits it’s still County jurisdiction. I really hope you answer this because I think it is really important to understand if citizens have another course of action rather than the police simply investigating themselves.

  • they always “Investigate” themselves and find no wrong doing.. like gang members ALL law enforcement will defend their own even knowing they were wrong..
  •  @scott cochran  that is precisely why I think it should be reported to the elected Sheriff if it is an actual crime situation. The sheriff is elected and traditionally is a little more in touch and accountable to the locals.
When it gets to the point where police are too fearful to do their job effectively they must be removed from their position.
  • This cop wasn’t scared for one second
  • The problem is they fear nothing. There is never any consequences for their behavior! Worse case they get a paid vacation for bad behavior!
  • The officer literally stated he was worried he was going to be shot as justification to violate his 4th amendment rights.
In general, you need to state your rights.* I don’t consent to any searches or seizures.- 4th Amendment* * I don’t answer questions officers- 5th Amendment.* Cops will still do what they’re going to do but you will have a stronger case in court to win your settlement.
When rogue cops are illegally detaining, assaulting or  brutalizing innocent citizens like this, any companions of the victim and other  people who are observing the incident underway should IMMEDIATELY video AND shout out to let the cops know that they will LOSE THEIR QUALIFIED IMMUNITY IN COURT AND THEY WILL BE PERSONALLY SUED ALONG WITH THE CITY,  AND RISK GOING TO PRISON FOR THEIR CRIMINAL ACTIONS AND VIOLATIONSOF CIVIL RIGHTS!!
See also for example the police murder of  Luke Stewart. Since it is TAX DOLLARS that ALWAYS fund and payout these absurd ( not union or pension funds unfortunately) and massive  law suits to the  aggreived parties, all citizens have the right and duty to express their LOUD  anger and disapproval of any observed  illegal conduct , excessive violence and abuses police  flagrantly and  openly  committ in public.
The reality is that cops are broadly given too much protection from unions; they don’t act consistently lawful, and masses of cops have improper training or often fail to use effective  de-escalation tactics when the circumstances warrant  and doing so is clearly  appropriate. Another example: one man who was a counselor for a young austistic boy went searching for him when cops showed up. Even though the man got down on the ground with hands open and arms spread the cops shot him multiple time with no legal justification. The cop afterwards directly stated he didn’t  know why he shot the law-abiding citizen!?!🤔🤨🙄
It was also a gross error and dereliction of duty for former President Obama to merely dole out billions in surplus military equipment to police departments all around the nation. https://inthesetimes.com/features/obama_police_miltary_equipment_ban.html
This cop came and created more crime than what he was there for and demeanored these people as if they were animals in their home. Then assaults the man and makes him bow down to his illegal authority.
This is what happens when steroid abuse is allowed to run rampant in police departments. It’s absolutely disgusting. I hope they sue and win and I hope this unhinged officer is arrested and charged.
For a trooper who is “not gonna let you shoot me”, he’s doing everything he can to get shot.
the officer stated explicitly that his concern allowing his entry without a warrant was based on his concern that firearms might be used against him. I.E. his illegal entry was a precautionary weapons search inside the house – without a warrant or probable cause. Give the cop a Uvalde award and fire him, and yes, sue the hell out of him.
After having my rights violated I called a dozen lawyers and after hours of time wasted none have called back like they said .the cops came to my home on a tip that someone in my home may have a warrant and tried to enter my home without a search warrant until I told them they couldn’t enter and they never told me who they were looking for then demanded my ID and I said why do you suspect me of a crime and I refused to give them it they were going to arrest me for interfering in their investigation cuffed me and placed me in a hot police car for 30 minutes while they ran the ID of the 2 girls that were in my home we all came back cleane but they didn’t release me for about 10 more minutes
The officer was afraid the guy had a gun so he followed him into his house? Ya, that makes all the sense in the world. When I fear for my life I also follow people that I don’t know into places that I’m unfamiliar with too.
Somehow, I see an unhappy ending to Trooper Wiseman’s career in law enforcement. His uncontrollable rage coupled with his possession of a loaded firearm; his unlawful entry into a home, physical assault on two individuals in the invaded home . . . Look for a federal indictment and conviction before Christmas. Too many people have seen the video for there to be anything other than criminal charges for this crazy acting cop. He has brought humiliation, scorn, distrust, dishonor and disgrace to his agency, a mortal sin for any cop.
That trooper is the EXACT reason that so called “good cops” get assaulted, battered, injured and killed by citizens. His personal anger, lack of respect for the constitution that he swore to uphold, contempt for citizens and belief that his personal feelings and desires are overwhelmingly more important than anything or anyone else is shockingly vivid. I wonder how many people he had arrested for “raising their voice to him”? If he has not yet, he will kill someone in the line of duty for some perceived disrespect and blame it on safety. He needs to lose his certification and never be employed in law enforcement ever again.
John, this cop is par for the course; Condescending, threatening, and violent. Then this cop shows considerable distain for the fourth amendment of the constitution, once again par for the course. I did see a camera but I didn’t see any light notifying us that it was rolling if he truly had one and it wasn’t some SHINee button so he can claim that he has a body camera. Considering how easily police are able to lie to us I would not be so confident in his response.
To the cops in this video: You should go to the church and ask them to move the traffic cone instead of unlawfully entering the house of an innocent family’s home, falsely accusing them of a weapon, and assault.
How convenient of this trooper to record himself violating this man’s 4th Amendment right by illegally entering his home without permission to do so and without a warrant. This body cam video – if it doesn’t mysteriously “disappear” once a lawsuit is filed – will come in handy in the federal civil rights lawsuit that I hope this man files. I wonder how the trooper arrogantly and belligerently inviting the victim/plaintiff to sue him will be received by any judge or jury who might this video during a trial? I know how I would view it.
My goodness, this cop must be on a power trip from hell. I almost feel sorry for him for being in such a mental state that he’s in. He would totally lose it if he lived in a blue state where pot is normalized. He must really hate himself. He’s dangerous!
“Do not raise your voice to me”. Does that sound familiar to anyone? Omg scary as fkc. Can tell he is already unhinged. Can’t risk talking to them. Remain silent, tell them to leave.
The corruption starts with the judges, DA’s, attorneys and law enforcement. Judges and DA’s are the real problem that’s why the cops act without conscious and consequence.
Imagine this; you have in the neighborhood you live in growing up as a kid these parents (judge and DA) that have these bully kids (cops) , and a older brother (chief of police) who’s “seems” like the descent one of the brothers, that terrorize the other kids(citizens) in the neighborhood. But everyone is afraid to fight against the bullies (cops) because you’ll get your ass kicked so you go to the older brother (Police Dept. Chief of Police) “Hey your brothers (cops) are real bullies they’re fucking with everyone and me!” The older brother (chief of police) says “I’ll give them a good talking to and if they keep it up I’ll even tell mom (DA) and dad (Judge) about it(internal investigation) he(chief of police) talks to his brothers(cops) and still the bully brothers (cops) don’t stop harassing the kids(citizens) in the neighborhood so finally the parents of the neighborhood have had enough, they go to the parents (Judge and DA) house(court) and complain about their kids(cops) and to the surprise of the parents of the kids (citizens) that are getting bullied, the parents (DA and the Judge) of the bullies (cops) declare this will be a in house matter and their bully kids (cops)will be dealt with. Then you later find out as punishment they only got time out but continue to be able to enjoy their privileges(qualified immunity) so where was the punishment? And that is how the American Justice system works. The corruption starts from the head down. Judges, DA’s and (chief of police and police stations, public defenders all go hand in hand. There are public defenders that are in league with these corrupt officials on making deals, now that’s something to think about. Let’s get rid of public immunity and have the cops pay out of pocket. As tempting as it is to go after the big monetary prize we to instead go after the cops personally and their livelihood yes it will be considerable less money but they will never work in law enforcement and at best will be flipping burgers for the rest of their lives while losing everything. First have a camera then in order to strip a cop down of his qualified immunity you have to let them know what they are doing is illegal and is this the policy of the police department and name a precedence of a court case that goes against what they are doing and advice them that they will lose their qualified immunity if they continue in this wrongful manner and if they do; You got them and their livelihood.
