Abuse (police)

ICPPUL > Police > Abuse

abuse:

  • anonymous tip coupled with failure to investigate and ignorance, leads to lies, excessive force, conspiracy while muting of body camera audio and trumped up charge, all supported by their superiors.  Police don’t think, just go in and look to grab ID.   (2)
  • authoritarian control freaks (2) (3) (4) (5)
  • barge in the front door without warrant / revolving door of dismissed officers (2)
  • bear false witness (2) (3) (4)
  • threaten social service as leverage to search without search warrant, then falsely claim they smell marijiana, detain in handcuffs  and threaten to separate from 4-year old autistic daughter
  • beating -in county jails, deputies put on those gloves before beating an inmate to protect their hands from injuries but the main reason is to minimize potential evidence of beating or manhandling an inmate. then they put the inmate in solitary confinement until the bruises are gone as well.
    • Putting the gloves on for their assault seems to show premeditation, they made up their mind about him before even initiating contact. Forget about conducting an investigation.
    • It was very apparent by the video that as soon as the resident said no to the Tyrants. He was in violation of first degree contempt of cop as far as they were concerned and sentenced to “We’re gonna F-you up” for having said that to our delicate ears.
    • What bothers me is that right from the start, they bark orders immediately. The level of discourse is exceptionally disrespectful and belligerent as soon as they see him. Just a kind of “get down here, now or you’re going to jail.” Give a person a uniform and they think they own everyone.
    • Well they have to get their numbers up – Constitution be damned.
    • Obstructing must be removed from allowable charges. The police use it as a catch-all and they need to be stopped!
    • I live in West Virginia unfortunately (beautiful state, so underrated tourism wise but we suffer so much in so many ways) and I can confirm that the cops here are just out of control. I’m a white woman and the victim of police brutality
    • W,Va has some of the worst cops I’ve ever dealt with
    • West Virginia and Mississippi are a couple of the states that Alabama can make fun of.
    • I live in Greenbrier county. All the cops I have ever had to engage with are just like these ones. I can’t count how many people from friends/family that have been treated just like this by Greenbrier county officers. So many of them have been arrested for obstruction simply for disagreeing with the officer or stating an opinion. I wish I would have studied up on the laws along time ago, and know what I know now, the last time my husband was arrested! I wish I would’ve gotten it on video, but they completely violated several of his rights and arrested him on our front porch with no warrant. He was simply driving back home from going to the store that’s not even 1/4 of a mile from our house. As I was looking out the window, I seen my husband turn down our road, right behind him I seen a Greenbrier County Sheriffs cruiser turn in behind him. At this point, their lights were not activated so I didn’t think anything of it until my son come running in the house yelling that the cops had my husband in the yard trying to taze him. It was back in 2020 or 2021. I still have the police report, if you would ever like to take a look at it. However, I know it’s been too long now to do anything about it. Which sickens me, because they get away with doing the same thing to other citizens on a daily basis around here. No one knows their rights or how to go about holding them accountable and 96% of our counties population can not afford a lawyer. Therefore, they know they don’t stand a chance if they wanted to do something about it and the cops just get away with it! They really need investigated!
  • retaliate for people exercising rights, effort to hold them accountable, harass political opponents, (silence, identification)
  • brutalize (racial) after pre-textual stop
  • bully  |  retaliate
  • hothead and unreliable narrator: verbally abuse | retaliate
  • conceal evidence: mute/stop body camera  (2)  | fail to release footage  (2)
  • contempt of cop  | blocks husband on way to emergency room -no officer interfention |  (2)   (AMBA: autocratic morally bankrupt abomination : The police tried to take the field, but the marching band refused to yield? … Do you recall what was the deal the day the taser fired? #
      • So, the home team lost the football game, the away team was winning the battle of the bands, so of course, police have to perpetrate violence…
I watched many versions of this event and one thing I noticed that is nice…..the cops are able to demonstrate to a huge group of teens what awful human beings they are and saves them the time of having to do it one person at a time.
      • It’s because they were the away team and they won, and the home team wanted to cut their celebration short. Typically the winning teams band will play afterwards… obviously it’s nothing written in law, but it was very petty of them to cut their celebration short and even more petty and sadistic to sic the local cops on them.  #

    • off duty cop retaliated on pregnant wife’s husband for honking at him for blocking the intersection leading to the emergency room entrance
      • Refused to listen to husband and overrode husband’s wishes
      • My dad was a LEO for 30 years he constantly said not everyone is cut out to be a cop. If you can’t leave your ego at home don’t even sign up for the job.
      • He was enjoying the fact that he got to hurt and punish them. Swindler’s delight. That’s a term somebody used
      • Different (Good) cop: When my child was young, I drove 100 miles an hour because my little girl was not breathing and my husband was giving CPR. I was pulled over by a cop when I heard the saw what was happening he escorted us to the hospital. No ticket.

Photography is Obstruction.

One of the complaints about some police is that they just aggravate a bad situation.  An example of this is where a truck pulling a boat parks beside a store entrance for a few minutes while the driver runs in to get something. He says he parked there because there was no where else with space for both his truck and his boat. The police officer then dramatically increases the amount of time the vehicle is parked in the fire lane by trumping up the charges against the driver after the officer feels the teen has been disrespectful. The officer ultimately tackles him to the ground and falsely arrests him for breaching the peace. It seems more important to the officer to throw the book at this teen than to clear the fire lane or protect the bystanders he claimed to be protecting.

  1. UK Police abuse compared to US:In the USA they would have body slammed him to the ground within seconds with five officers on top of him shouting “stop resisting, stop resisting” as they held down and choked him as he struggled to breathe, then they would have tasered him (for struggling to breathe) and very quickly followed all that by firing lethal shots into his body claiming that his (involuntary) reaction to the shock of the taser was actually an attempt by him to reach for their guns.
