Anyone who is doing a deposition on excessive force or shooting someone should NOT be able to wear a weapon. He looks like hes fighting a grin
I remember this incident. He straight up murdered that guy and we’d have never known apart from someone filming the cops.
He had his gun to protect everyone there, but who’s there to protect everyone from him?
The worst is the cop cannot just comply and leave his weapon outside the room. That is clear intimidation by the cop. Honestly I would have rescheduled for when he was off duty, taking up his free time and forcing him to disarm. The cop laughed about killing someone, I would be scared about pissing him off and having him shoot everyone.
Can’t IMAGINE how bad this cop would do with his “council” in a courtroom, if he’s this confrontational at a deposition…..this guy came in KNOWING he’s guilty and trying to find a way out. Clearly a “rules for thee but not for me” phycopath that OPINION could argue should be in jail….but FACTS at least show he should not be allowed to be a cop.
…..because he is the type of cop that has the mentality; “it’s this gun, badge and uniform that gives me power and respect, without it, I am nothing.”
That article you linked to gives much more background. This cop is clearly a cold blooded killer, but the whole department actively tried to cover this up.
This is why, in my opinion, depositions should not take place. There is no judge there to control things. Lawyers interrupting all the time, and the cop never answers anything.
Just looking at him you can tell he should not be a police officer. His disgust of the pesky citizens is very visible.Government protects government.
I’m at 8 minutes and he has yet to answer anything beyond basic questions. The amount of bickering between attorneys is sickening compared to what this guy has done.
This is what is looks like when a cop doesn’t give a damn. It’s not his money on the line. He’s not really going to lose anything.. might have to change agencies at worst.
The mannerism’s of this officer being deposed, the grins, smirks tell me that no matter what is said he’s home free and screw that fact the county will have to pay out a huge loss, its not his money its tax payer dollars so he doesn’t care at all maybe because his is armed right now and dangerous. This is for everyone police never socialize, associate with non police, they don’t attend non police picnics BBQ’s graduations birthdays party’s for all ages restaurants and some bars if they are not police connected and that’s a FACT! How in Gods name can this officer forget so much, can’t remember, didn’t know the rules of police policy, how is this possible?
It amazes me how cops are never prosecuted under title 18 U S.C. sections 241 and 242 and held accountable for their crimes.
