Amazing ID Refusal – Extreme ego check

Original video https://youtu.be/S01EvBA0Y3U

  • This cop is an huge embarrassment to all law enforcement officers …he yells and screams at the citizen, but when he gets on the radio, or his own supervisor approaches, he completely changes his demeanor .

  • If I was sitting on a police review board I would recommend this officer for a psych test and retraining.
I see 2 major issues here.
    1) His main job was to back up his partner.
Hard to do that when your not backing up your partner.
    2) He took a supervisor away from her job.

  • He knew exactly what the law was and tried intimidation to get his way all he ended up doing was failing to do his job.

  • What a punk. There is no reason for this contact except to attempt to intimidate this photographer. He can ask all day and no one is obligated to give up their rights. These cops know the law and choose to ignore it because they can violate people’s rights with impunity.

  • “Did I ask you for ID?” The level of cowardess once his boss was there is amazing… She says “No, he explained to me pretty well”… What did he explain? Surely not told the truth. I’d pull up the bodycam footage and send it to her… is that what he explained to you pretty well? I guess not.

  • Yes they can ask for ID, but being told a dozen or so times” no”, is hardly vague. Asked and answered 12+ times. That’s attempted harassment and intimidation, grind you down til you (may) give in.
  • Cop wasn’t asking in a reasonable manner. He demanded it and only backed down when he was challenged. When anyone walks up to your face and makes loud demands it is clearly an act of intimidation. Simply put, what would the cops do if you walked up on them in the same manner?
  • At 4:00, The cop says, That’s the last time I’m going to ask you (for your ID). Then proceeded to ask him seven more times. The behavior of this cop is a prime example of narcissism.
  • So by the officer’s logic the photographer is creating a disturbance if he films them without identifying himself. And not creating a disturbance if he does identify. This cop has lost his shit, I really hope he watches this video and sees how stupid he sounds! Photographer your policy is to identify, officer yeah and your policy is, photographer I don’t have a policy, I’m dying over here. This cop is killing me, gunphones oh my God, we need more interaction with this officer.
  • Blame shifting.” Thanks for the word for the concept of blaming an auditor for the chaos caused by the cop.
  • If she’s happy saying that’s just him maybe she knows he’s a bit unstable!

  • 16:12 – Isn’t that cute how he casually walked over to make sure he gets to give his side of the situation before the supervisor hears what’s going on? I can hear it now – ” He won’t give me his ID. He thinks he knows the law, Mr. Lawyer. He’s one of those “rights” guys.” Then the supervisor would say, “Alright. Well, I’ll try getting him and then he can go to jail with that attitude.”

  • This cop is a flagrant intimidator. What you prefer, he will violate. He tries to install a policy on your side, and then tells you he has “a right” to ask you for ID. This is true, but you have a right to decline. Now, back to the Constitution and your oath – what was that about rights? Officer safety is one form of blame shift. But they also use YOUR safety to direct you into what they want. They authorize themselves to have authority over you and “safety” is their way in, but they work each side to qualify your rights. Nothing this cam man is doing gives the cop anything to work with. This cop isn’t just bad. He’s outta date. Sounds like he took his test when the qualifications to be a cop were relaxed or set lower. Actually, he sounds like an a$sh*le. How’d you like having that voice in your ear, being his wife. Ugh…!

  • I understand that everyone is focused on the interaction between the cop and the cameraman but, I think the cop is there to distract the camera to him and off of the stop itself. I remember the guy auditing the military base and they got in his face, then he elevated the camera over their heads on a tele pole to eliminate them blocking the camera. They looked so lost at that point. It was great!
  • what do these police do so easily that makes them so afraid of cameras that they assign a designated distraction for videographers?
  • Amazing how you could have 20 people standing around a crime scene, but the police always approach the one with the camera.

  • Everyone including the auditor here seemed to forget that the officer did threaten with arrest and say that denying ID was a crime. They decided quickly to cover that misunderstanding up, and apparently the auditor forgot. It wasn’t just his aggressive demeanor. He outright lied with intention of intimidating this man into giving his name.
  • What’s crazy is cops like this get promotions instead of being fired like they should be

  • Always amazes me how much an ID can dispell all their suspicions.

  • The cop was so afraid of this guy that he turned his back on him, hilarious

  • I noticed that the way he talks into the radio and the way he talks to the citizen were very different. Listen to his voice.
  • 12:30 – So because the rare concern comes up, EVERYBODY is a suspect, everybody is potentially a criminal. Right? So this cop admitted they see each person as a threat – “you know how it is out there.” So, what? There is one in 40,000 who would harm a cop, and that increases with population. Now we find justification for how THE PEOPLE are treated, and rights are violated under an assumption that you are already something you aren’t yet. Same thing with this cop. You are exercising your rights, where you should be, and then he conveys what your lawful actions ARE into what he needs to make them, by context. Sorry, dumb cop. You can’t reassign an ‘action’ (toward intent) because laws can’t be installed to contravene the Constitution and our rights. See how “they” corrupt the view, the perspective? It’s less obvious these days but “they” still do it. “They” just don’t insist it the same way. After all, “what ate you gonna do about it?” Sue the cops, the department, the human.

  • Old video. But, when ever a cop wonders why you won’t provide ID, ask for theirs right back. “Are you trying to hide something?”

  • For someone concerned about his safety he sure is quick to turn his face away and look away when he talks on the radio.
  • OK, this cop is certifiably crazy! He has ranted for over a minute straight and says he is not the one creating a scene? Wow, denial ain’t just a River in Egypt.

  • Shoot.. classic roid-rage! Scary that there are folks like him walking around out there with badges and guns. Sad to see the lady cop put her head in the sand and cover for his obnoxious behavior. No good will come from protecting a guy like him. Next time he will cause bodily hard or perhaps kill someone and then what will she say… “no I don’t see a problem – he explained it to me and makes sense“? This guy is the type to get butt-hurt easily and I can see him planting drugs on people down the line or giving the next guy he comes upon a beating because that guy isn’t holding a camera phone… bummed to see this happen

  • Funny how he changed his story. Both of these cops are liars.

  • You see how his attitudes changed, now he’s trying to be friendly and laugh with the guy. When he came up aggressive. I can’t stand when the cops always think they’re right. That they know the law 100% even when time and time again they’re proven wrong. But they won’t ever change their ways cuz they investigate themselves and discipline themselves and they NEVER find wrong doing UNLESS it’s caught on camera and they damn near killed someone or beat the hell out of someone!

  • IF I were this officers Chief, I truly would tell this cop to calm down for his own good.
He comes across as ineffective and hostile.

  • COP – “Ok, now that you’re filming me and everything, let me see your ID”.
ME – But officer the only crime here is your haircut.

  • This is brilliant. The dude was so chill he deserves an award. Great to watch thankyou

  • I like this auditor. He sounds so relaxed. Like his sarcastic laugh aswel

  • It’s funny how he talks so normal to his sergeant but he was so loud and aggressive and raspy to the auditor

  • This is a perfect example of what’s wrong with law enforcement today, officers forget who they work for.

  • This guy HAS to be a former marine drill sgt. Just look at his stance, demeanor, hair and graveley voice. He is NOT used to being told no. Great job by the auditor standing his ground!

  • No, it’s ‘ not an ego, it’s training to look threatening. Police officers are trained to control every situation as the matter of their safety, and this is good example of this cop putting up a performance. He himself is clearly not that badass, but he is doing his best to perform the act – but has not enough in him to last long.
  • Camera guy handled that very well. Even made the cop laugh cause he realized how ridiculous his little rant was
  • I wouldn’t want to give him my ID based on the fact that he seems to be insane and I wouldn’t want an insane person with a gun and the ability to get away with murder to know where I live.
  • I thought he was only going ask one more time(liar). . More like he walked up on the man to try to intimidate. The auditor should have just not even talked to him, that would have drove that cop crazy. From what I’ve seen, cops have nothing but disdain for auditors, or anybody who doesn’t kiss their axxes
  • This cop did a GREAT JOB! …. Of distracting the auditor from recording the traffic stop.
  • Opinion: “Prior restraint” This is a “consensual conversation” devised by the cop to consume the time and attention of the camera operator, with the sole intention to distract from the event.

  • If you’re willing to risk it, put your hands in your pockets in this “non-detainment” Once the cop demands you remove your hands from said pockets do so. You have now complied with a show of authority, and you have now been detained. Thereby requiring him to explain to a judge why he detained you once you take them to court.
  • I have a problem.. the sgt drives up without her headlights on. I’d be concerned. You know for officer safety and probably the public too.

Cop Tries To Harass Black College Student But Gets Owned And Taught The Law

I’m convinced the first rule in the cop handbook is “Never admit fault.”
You’re being “hostile” when you don’t let them violate your rights. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Classic.
Calling the man “creepy” trying to insult him to get a rise, top quality police
As a former Union Agent representing law enforcement I can say without a doubt most of my time was taken up by officers or deputies that have taken their authority and abused it in this same manner. They harass the wrong person and that triggers a formal complaint to Internal Affairs. And bingo we have a professional law enforcement officer on leave pending investigation. In this specific instance this officer isn’t enforcing the law, he’s enforcing his ego.
It’s shocking how the officer picks on him and so many students are walking by in the video at 2am in the morning.
The male cop says the black man being out at that time of the night is odd, yet several people walk by at different times during the interaction. College students are always out at all times of the night!
The fact that the couple falsely accuses him of being hostile shows that this is something they do to try to justify their next deadly action
“You we’re hiding in the bushes” at what point was he hiding in the bushes lol!
This young man was not behind the bushes, he was in plain sight. And while I’m watching this there’s so many people out and about walking around at two whatever in the morning. They just want to harass him. I’m proud of this young man for standing his ground.
He wanted to arrest him so bad “when you’re going to jail it is gonna be real funny
“I don’t know why you’re being so difficult” “I don’t know why you’re trying to violate my rights”
Notice… this man played him… and didn’t say a SINGLE curse word… didn’t cuss him out or nothing. Just taught him a BIG lesson!
This is a perfect example of cops sticking up for cops even when they know they are wrong. And she is a sergeant. Both of them should be fired for harassing a member of the public.
Much respect to the Brother keeping his cool and demonstrating how the police will lie and still keep their jobs.
I wish we could see them driving away. The UNCG code of conduct is online. It took me 1 minute to search for identification. Nowhere does it say you have to produce ID except in a hearing.
It makes me sick when police start pulling that “get your hands out of your pockets” bull sht.
You know when a cop either says here’s how it’s going to go or here’s the deal, that they are about to violate your rights
It might be beneficial to us all if Cops actually had a collage education.
If he didn’t have that camera running it would have gone a completely different way. ALWAYS RECORD any involvement with LEOs.
“We The People” Seeing an ex cop run this channel appropriately is proof that people that stand up for their rights aren’t anti goverment. Just “Pro, good government “ Cool channel.
You see how he assumed he wasn’t a student, I wonder why? Smh
I like the part where the officer says “if a school administrator asks for your ID, you must provide it”. He’s not a f-ckin administrator.
I think he did the right thing by getting back in front of his camera for his protection
>> Definitely! Especially, when that cop started lieing and said ” Take your hands out of your pockets “, trying to set up a defense for doing something to him! I’m glad the young man recognized what he was trying to do!

>> I agree when the cop started saying keep your hands out your pockets off camera who knows what would of happened. He was walking backwards to his car..lol ..WTF what a !!COWARD

>> Absolutely! I was getting concerned about that also. That cop definitely tried to begin a narrative the he was doing something, anything wrong. Kudos for following through bru!
The crazy thing about some of these cops is they have gotten away with things like this in the past. If it wasnt on camera he would have been arrested and the story would have been different. you see how he stated you were in the bushes, what “THESE” people do at times. Not all, not all, but a lot of them. It’s in them
My handsome black brother,👏🏾 thank you for standing on right. That man who calls himself a cop, is a joke. I hope this gets seen by all my black brothers who don’t know their rights and learns them to stop this tyranny in this country. Great job!
Kudos to this guy! I thoroughly enjoyed watching him calmly and confidently exercising his rights! It sucks that the supervisor that showed up couldn’t just admit the first cop was wrong and just leave this guy alone. This is another good reason why cops get a bad wrap.
It’s hard to stand your ground sometimes, especially if you have things to do, they will argue with you for hours instead of just saying they’re wrong and letting you go.
It is so scary to see this. If the supervisor didnt show up in time he could have been both tasered and arrested on false accusations.
Hate when cops ask “why are you being difficult?”! He is being difficult because you are trying to violate his 4th amendment rights and you’re abusing your power in a situation where you have no authority. Also, school policy (code of conduct) doesn’t trump the constitution, he doesn’t need to show ID even if the cop found the “code”.
This is probably the best video I’ve seen of this type. He successfully made the cops look like a complete clown. “Keep your hands out of your pockets” he should be fired just for that.
It’s wonderful that the brother knew his rights, but he shouldn’t have gone back and forth with the cop, because some cops would’ve concocted some fictitious story, and felt threatened based on the argument which could’ve led to the young man being killed. The brother has the recording which will serve as permissible evidence in Court, or to the Dean/Student Affairs, provide the handbook to the proper representatives at the institution showing the bylaws causing him to lose his job, and lastly file a harassment suit. I’ve seen black men who know the law, and are in law school encounter this same problem, but you just have to think about things from a precautionary standpoint. I was in this same situation, and took legal action based on my understanding of the law. I received a settlement, and the officer was demoted three times, and fired once I spoke and sufficient evidence was provided to substantiate my claim.
Has a cop ever talked without lying? Non-stop lies from beginning to end. Tyrant.
These public officials seem to be drunk on their perceive authority. Thank goodness for the first amendment auditors that bring the ignorance of these public servants to the forefront for all to see.
Love how there’s literally a truck full of ppl in the back and this is the person he choose to harass. Just pathetic and unacceptable
Good job. Lots of NC folk comply with Law Enforcement whether they’re right or wrong especially if they (the citizen) is black. I encourage everyone to exercise their rights but most won’t , even the young (I’m 55) but I’m glad this brother did…
Cops love to say “why you so hostile?” Lmao okay dude.
I’m pro law enforcement but both cops were fighting for dominance and their behavior was strictly driven by their ego. The student gets a grand slam as he handled this perfectly, wittingly, humorously and very smoothly. Nice job!
I love this guy, he knows his shit! Cops need to learn, sometimes, just walk away and drop it, it is not worth the fight.
The funny part is you’re going to leave either way” bro, that got me so good!
That young man clowned him and took away his perceived authority while having fun with it. The point is the young man knew the laws and his rights. He had a quick counter for everything officer ” I’m going to assert some authority on you ” presented.
It’s sad to see and hear in almost all of these cases the sheer amount of ego hunting and zero intelligence of the letter of the law!
How sick our these control freaks?
I love when cops say “why are you been difficult” when they are violating your rights. A good cop that covers or standby for a bad cop is as bad.
5:18 “I don’t know why you’re being so hostile.” I really hate it when they pull these petty moves.
Why is it that the police find it impossible to just go without giving advice or attempting to get you to comply with something!😂
Another cop that doesn’t know the laws he’s supposed to upload but harrasses and makes up lies to justify trying to violate this mans right to record in public. The lady cop is just as wrong for attempting to back her fellow officer and they should both be charged with harrassment, or any other violation we can make up…like they do.
Cop “I‘m trying to help you out” how is trying to get his ID and threatening to arrest him helping him out?
He really really wanted to take him to jail he would do anything to take him to jail if this man was not recording he would be in jail and I’m 95% sure that that officer fabricate as much lies as he possibly can to keep this man in jail just because he was “defiant“ he was doing what he should challenge the law in the correct way what a looser
So the sergeant comes and explains that everything he’s doing is perfectly legal with the photography and all but then she starts the cops explaining. Then she starts the bullying. I need you to move over here 20 ft over here so that you’re on a different property even though it’s all public property but I have to flex my muscles and tell you what to do otherwise you’re a free person walking around in a free area and we certainly cannot have that.
Shout out to the brother. I hope he’s still safe and standing up for our rights! ✊🏾 And ffs 2am is early on a college campus on the weekend. Clearly a big party or event just happened.
The pettiness is what really got me.
Police officers often enjoy to assert their power and more often than not, they end up looking foolish while attempting to violate citizens rights.
There was nothing hostile about this young man. He just knew his rights. Police are never on your side and will use your information against you.
Man bro I love when cops get taught the law they’re supposed to know then try to pull the power play move
This is extremely frightening to me how uneducated the officers are.
The amount of ignorance in these LEOs…..astonishing, yet sadly not unexpected.
Now She’s doing the “Police Culture ” Thing by trying to save face and be in Authority!😔🙄
I think it’s funny when these cops say, I’m telling you, no matter what you must obey!
Lmao I love how this dude laughs at how stupid situation that he’s in. Full Respect XD
I love how they try to grab control of the situation when they have been upped! We know why he was stopped. Look, I don’t have time to argue with a rent-a-cop, either arrest me or leave me the hell alone. My mans said he was “behind the bushes.” LMAO
This was beyond beautiful! Bravo to this young man! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Racial profiling. Glad I saw this, I live in NC… very familiar with the campus. I’ll be sure not to allow my daughter transfer here. I was worried the boss would be in the same bs and she was…. The first officer was a straight up liar like most of them are…trust me I know. Just separated from NCDPS. Wicked and corrupt bunch of people.
Cop is a butt-hurt liar. He said he would “arrest” him if he didn’t ID, and yet NO ID, no arrest.
I love the fact that you always remind people to learn their rights. I’m gonna go review right now matter of fact. Would I have left? Prolly… Fact is the police terrify me. I’ve been afraid of the police since I was six years old. I’ve been living in a nation under terror for thirty years. The problem is, in a court of law, the police are automatically above any suspicion, as though police are never criminals. The police almost never report crimes committed by other members of law enforcement, and there were even police that actually operated as a gang. Gang mentality needs to go. Get it out of America. How? Get rid of stupid laws. Legalization of most drugs requiring addicts seek their drugs from a federally mandated facility where no one will ever overdose, no poison will be in the drugs and tax dollars can be collected instead of spent locking them up. Furthermore addicts would be exposed to narcotics anonymous literature et cetera, and drugs would become affordable so crime would decrease further. Hands and mobs, having nothing to sell, would be forced to go back to gambling, rackets etc, or go out of business altogether. So locking people for drug addiction and start treating them. They’re just people who either want to party, or are suffering. Why is that illegal? If we followed the letter of the law every single American would spend several lifetimes in prison. The average American commits three felonies EVERY DAY without even realizing it.
I don’t know why you’re being so difficult and hostile” “You’re behind the bushes” “Student code of conduct says to provide your ID”. The mental gymnastics of police officers is crazy.
Both the cop and sergeant didn’t know the law. Mind boggling as to how they think that they can manipulate the law and try to threaten him with an arrest. Gosh this student was one articulate, brave and fierce guy. He just had no time for their bullshit.
Great video. I laughed several times – especially when he kept asking if the cop was mad.
It would have been absolutely perfect if dude ended up letting the cop know he was studying to be a civil rights attorney. Lmao. Oh man that would have been perfect!
The Cop “knows” he’s right, yet 1st he said the Man, or according to Cops, the “Suspect”, wasn’t a student, then, he said he was, then he said he knew the Law, Yet, at NO time, did he arrest the “Suspect”. 2 Cops for about a half hour, for a DEADLY situation, like this. We don’t have enough of these Brave Heroes out there, and we Clearly need to Hire more.
Great video!!!! Can you do a video explaining what would happen in this same exact case if the officer decided to push his authority and falsely arrest him? What would this young man go through after being arrested? A ride to jail and time wasted seeing a judge that decides he was in the right over the officer? And then what most likely would happen to the officer for not knowing the law and possibly just knowing a policy that has no weight to the law?
“Either way you’re gonna get in your car and leave” , had me LOL.. You crushed em dude. Good going!
What a wonderful young man. They really are relentless lying demons and they took so much of his time. Harassment, absolute harassment, they really should be punished for this.
So when you disagree with a cop you’re being difficult even though the cop is wrong and you were right.
Are these real cops? Or rental cops? The “lady cop” is reaching, by telling him where he can and can not film. These cops need to look for the real bad guys!! Go away little cops, go away!!!!! Lol!!! He states he is not “mad”!!!
It is so nice and refreshing to live in a country where you can walk, drive any time night or day and the cops would not stop you and ask for I D,even when they stop you for traffic violation they dont demand you to get out of the car and handcuffs you..
No matter how much these cops get proven wrong. They can’t help themselves but they give some kind of directive, they have to boss somebody around and express their perceived authority onto others. And if we don’t listen they get so butt hurt
How hard is it for cops to just walk away and say have a nice day? Children just refuse to be wrong
Cops keep referring to the school’s Code of Conduct, but initially the first officer demanded to see his I.D. when he assumed that the man “wasn’t” a student !
Officer: “ it’s strange to be out here at 2:00 in the morning”
30 other people proceed to walk by.
The sad part is he really wanted him to go to jail for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! I hope his superior reprimanded him

He called the cops bluff when he said, he was going to arrest him. The cop back peddled, and tried a different tactic. Good for this man for standing up for his rights. The extraordinary length these cops go to, to have some measure of control over this man is ridiculous!
I love when people excercing their rights is not cooperating and being suspicious. It’s not a law no matter what. It’s code of conduct. You know they’d just arrest if they were right.
Be very careful of the advice you give on this platform! Being correct and surviving are not always synonymous! He was lucky…. to be on University property and a University student. What if someone in this comment section attempt to do the same thing except there are no witnesses around? Potentially end imprisoned on false charges or dead. YES… Stand up for your rights…but be smart about it. If you know your rights are being violated, and you’re recording…. COMPLY with the Officer… and get home safe!!! THEN get in contact with an attorney and file charges against the Officers involved AND the department. You will not win on the side of the road….let the attorney win in court!!!
>> Now that Officer did violate that students 4th Amendment Rights. The Sgt. Knew her Officer was wrong…and she still tried to cover for him. Comply…make it home alive… then contact an attorney. That’s the smartest approach.
When a cop tries to get someone to move a few feet it’s about one thing, control. Honestly, in this case what does it matter other than ego?
Clown tried to frame the guy outside of the view of the camera by asking him to stand outside of the view while insinuating that the man had something dangerous in his hands.
Legend has it that the cop is still out there looking for the rule to this day..
So, do rights go away after a certain time of the night? Am I ok to film from 7am to 9pm but 9pm to 7am it’s against the law?? It is SO scary how many cops don’t know the laws they are supposed to enforce.
“We’re definitely not trying to violate your rights, we just really want to violate your rights.” – Female cop.
The cop was difficult, but tells the student he’s being difficult. What an a hole.
It would be so nice if the public was allowed to question these cops and their superiors in public on camera for everyone to see and hear, as to why they do what they do , why they violate peoples rights , why they lie , why they cover up and their superiors should answer to why they just get pushed around from one precinct to the next and they’re not dealt with especially when they have so many complaints and their superiors should also answer the question as to why these cops are never properly trained and that the public knows more about the law more then the cops do…
As a white woman, I don’t know all these rights either. I’ve been stopped many times too…. BUT I’m always compliant. I believe you live longer that way. On the other hand, not knowing our rights is why we have lost SO many of our freedoms. Kudos to knowing your rights!!!
Police officer: I don’t understand why you’re being hostile/difficult. Translation: I don’t understand why you’re not allowing me to violate your rights.
The officer said that he was hiding behind a bush.He was standing out front on the sidewalk, even the cop noticed that before he got out of his car.Wow smh
He still violated his 4th amendment right when he looked in his bag. 🤦🏾‍♂
It blows my mind how many officers use that “why you being difficult” when a person quotes his rights and stands up to the cops tyrant ways!
Standing up for your rights is hostile Standing up for your rights is being difficult
I’ll be honest with you years ago I would have just shown my ID and been bullied but nowadays after watching Auditors and videos like this I have learned a lot and I appreciate it. no more getting bullied by the cops and record everything and don’t talk to them. Thanks
Guy approaches a man minding his own business, demands he leave, demands he ID, demands he explain himself, accuses him of hiding “behind bushes” and of possibly being a sexual assaulter… Then questions why he’s so hostile.
🤣 she tried to at least get one up on him. “You have to stand over here for us.” Umm no I don’t. Haha Well done. 👏🏽
This student stood his ground and left unscathed. It makes me wonder if he is in his United States or North Korea. This overreach by cops needs to be corrected..their threats of arrest are limiting freedom of movement of law abiding citizens. Unless there is a law enforced curfew you cannot stop a person from being out of his/her home/place of residence at any time. This is control without consent.
At the school I attended COC did indeed list showing your student I.D. to security and cops. Nevertheless, there’s a lot of people walking back and forth, so how is he unusual or suspicious? Besides, why sets up a camera on a main road if you intends to commit a crime?
The officer backed up like he was going to be attacked. The SKIN COLOR of the student to the officer is a threat. The officer is TROUBLE.
2 years to become a hairdresser, 6 months to become a cop. What do you expect
This is why there are so many innocent people in prison. Thank God everyone has a camera now to record their own evidence.
” we are definitely not trying to violate your rights” while we keep demanding your papers
I love how when they’re talking a group of people across the street are walking by you can’t make this shit up
Cops in the USA seem to confuse a hunch with suspicion, something your supreme courts have actually described in various rulings very specifically to be different, what the difference is and why it matters. Im European and even I know that.
Kudos to this young man however he could have exercised his 5th Amendment right to not talk to the police. What boggles my mind are campus cops who think a state university, with an ELECTED board of Regents, like a city council, is private property or as if it’s somehow restricted. With VERY few exceptions a public university’s campus sidewalks and streets are always open to the public. That university sidewalk IS A PUBLIC SIDEWALK and ignorant cops like this one doesn’t have the authority to kick someone off a public sidewalk.
This was a great project. It basically shows how the ego of the average cop won’t let them admit when there wrong and how there training and initiation for the suppose greater good has failed when the other cop cared more about protecting the other cops feelings over the rights of others (the greater good)
Scariest thing is the baseless warnings the two cops kept hurling at this student and they kept telling him that he did something wrong even though they knew that they had absolutely no “Reasonable – Articulable- Suspicion”. Both of these cops are on ego trips. End Qualified Immunity Nationally Now!

Cops Try To Escalate Nothing Into Something For “Officer Safety”

If these cops are filling their diapers because a nice woman is looking out for her sister and child then they have ABSOLUTELY no business being cops. No courage, no integrity, no honor. Ged rid of thrm.

  • Must be 2 car lengths
  • When an officer starts stuttering his words you know you’re in trouble because he’s trying to come up with a situation that does not exist so he struggles with the words to create it
  • That officer is so out of control with his emotions he is now a danger to the public because he has a gun
  • That looks like more than two car distance away. It’s like 5 car length away. Man there are so many cowardly cops out there, it’s a shame.
  • WOMAN: I served in the Military COP: I don’t give a Fuck !! That sums it up right there !!!
  • Who knows what they would have done without a witness! It’s amazing the tyrants’ recordings were available for release.
  • The entire Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Department is terrible. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
  • He knows exactly who she is. It’s on his computer. They never ask questions they don’t already know the answer to.
  • “I’m gonna make sure I go home every night.” I’d argue that that’s not in any way part of your duties to serve and protect your community!!! Not yourselves. This is why people HATE you
  • Everyone needs to call the sheriffs department and let us stand up for our veterans
  • As a citizen I would like to point out the most important thing to me when I get pulled over by the police is my safety. I have just as much right to protect my safety as they do I have just as much fear in me as they do and for them to take away our worries and concerns and only think of their others is just another drop in the bucket
  • So, this chicken cop can call for back-up, but her sister can’t wait to make sure she is safe, and if a cop has to worry about his safety all the time he needs to go work at Kentucky Fried Chicken, the only thing threatening is the chicken, that officer was rude the minute he walked up too the car I have seen those videos the whole objective is to kill and go home there is no bridging the gap, cops don’t want it.
  • It would have been so easy for the second cop to just stay with the sister until the stop was over.
  • So nice that the sergeant came to copsplain at the end. Those women feel so much safer now when they know it’s okay for cops to do whatever they like to you.
  • “His words” did not initially state or ever state a probable cause or reasonable articulation of suspicion that a traffic violation has been committed or any other justification for running the woman’s license plate.. Randomly running plates without a just cause is grasping for low hanging fruit in search for any reason to stop a citizen. Targeting citizens without just cause is harassment!
  • So if someone gets pulled over in a residential neighborhood everyone needs to vacate the area?
  • The way the officer is swearing with a child in the back is disgusting, yet entirely expected.
  • Police are trained to be professional arguers. They want to escalate the situation until you do or say something that they can use against you.
  • I don’t understand why the cop got upset about the other car being there. I see multiple cars pulled over together all the time in traffic stops.
  • Sick of cops acting like they’re perfect angels and think everyone is out to get them. Absolutely no self awareness
  • The policing institution is decayed with corruption, ego/anger issues, stupidity, and a blatant disregard for the U.S. Constitution.
  • At this point, I think it’s safe to say law enforcement have become domestic terrorists. And the kick in the teeth is that they’re paid for by their victims.
  • They can get away with assault, they did right here. Even a complaint won’t even be listened to, or lead to any punishment. I agree with your stand your ground statement. edit: Battery, they got away with battery and covering up the battery. That officer should have spent time in jail for crushing that woman with the vehicle’s door.
  • I love how these cops think that people aren’t in danger when these thugs pull them over…..they honestly think that there lives are more important then ours!
  • We must outlaw any and every military member from entering law enforcement. They consider us civilians, which means their mentality tells them they are in a warzone! I left you an email James, are you going to leave the rest of of that need help?
  • I love that the officer tried to overpower her and close her door and miserably got out muscled and failed.
  • Did he really say she was 2 car lengths ahead of them? That’s obviously a blatant lie… she has every right to stop on the side of the road and wait.. This is bullying, plain and simple, and unfortunately is normal, and not the exception, these days…
  • This is my sister and I. All I want to say is the main point that’s concerning to me and that has given me PTSD hasn’t even been highlighted. These officers were conspiring to take my child from me! That’s the issue! One of the officers said he would “hem us up” if the other cop wanted him to then the other cop said “shhhh” and pointed to his body cam. Why is this being overlooked?! It has caused great distress in my child and myself.
  • Don’t worry guys, I’m sure he isn’t in that position anymore, he probably got promoted
  • James perhaps you can speak with a DA or AG on this issue and show the police training is wrong and needs to change for instances like this
  • He is delaying the traffic stop beyond what is reasonable. He could go back to his cruiser and feel as safe as possible. But he is not doing that.
  • I love when they say -“I’m not going to play this game” when they know they are full of shit.
  • Somebody needs to teach the cops the law they are violating more laws than they are enforcing good God Almighty how stupid can they be did they not swear an oath to the Constitution of the United States of America I want every law enforcement officer in this country to reaffirm they’re allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America if they have the balls to do it because they love to violate people’s rights instead of protecting them this is getting ridiculous God help us all when a cop will do this to a woman on the side of a highway Jesus Christ
  • I find it very interesting how I really like your interpretation of those events compared to the VERY LAME assessment from “Audit the Audit”. They must be boot lickers because they gave that cop a “B-“. You have hit the nail on the head. It just amazes me that even with today’s technologies that cops still come up with the idea that their safety is paramount and above the safety of anyone and everyone else. That black vehicle was at least 50 feet away from the traffic stop but they cannot stand for any witnesses to their predatory practices. The only words I have to describe those tyrantical cops are “BADGE DRUNK“. Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. I really hate it when a cop trys copspaining away the reason why they broke the law.
  • If these LEOs are sooooo damn scared for their safety, why don’t they get a safer job? Quit, if you’re scared.
  • Of course. Any car driving by can do a drive by, yes cops.. close the whole freeway
  • Damn he could’ve already written the ticket already damn the ego on this coward
  • It’s very telling that the cops stumble over and ignore the most important question from the driver; “What law is that?” Of course they can’t actually name a law.
  • And then to put the icing on the cake he assaults her with the door and starts fighting with her to close the door and then finally says f*** it I don’t care anymore. And this man is on the streets interacting with the public and the department doesn’t see an issue with this this is a lawsuit waiting to happen I have a gut feeling this officer will end up discharging his gun because of emotional feelings he cannot check his emotions he cannot keep his emotions in balance he creates such horrible situations that puts the public in danger
  • I’ve been in this same situation. It’s about ego, hubris and control.
  • Officer safety? Being a cop is one of the safest jobs out there! You would think that he is a carpenter or something the way he worries about his own safety.
  • I am usually the first to defend a cop’s actions but this just makes my blood boil. These cops are plain wrong!
  • I’m so sick of tyrants violating our rights in the name of “SAFETY”
  • Ugh. I’ve scaled back my 1A viewing to a handful of auditors or aggregate sources because of the sheer stupidity of these cops. I can only take so much stupidity every week. At first it was funny, then educationally fun… now it’s just downright scary. They really have an us v.s. them mentality.
  • Wow, that “I’m gonna make sure i go home every day” was just mind boggling. Completely out of context but showing from where he’s speaking. James, can you go behind the curtain and do a video about the training. I think that would be an eye opener for many people that still believe that cops are protecting and serving anybody. Keep up the good work. God bless!
  • I don’t blame the cops being so paranoid after seeing these types of interactions with law abiding citizens who needs criminals
  • I cannot believe the immaturity of this so called law enforcement officer. This is all about ego and has absolutely nothing to do with officer safety!
  • By their behavior she had every right to stay there because obviously her sister needed a witness to the behavior of these officers for they are clearly not following the color of the law
  • this was/is in my back yard. I’ve got 40 years here born and raised. Been harassed caged and beat by these guys. At least they have body cams now. This first guy talking is a fast talking tyrant
  • The cop says 1/3 of the time he runs a license plate it comes back with a suspended license or warrant. So one out of three people driving down the road have a warrant or suspended license? Unbelievable that the cop can just make up fake facts. I can guarantee you that it’s not one third of people. Wow.
  • This isn’t even surprising anymore it’s just upsetting.
  • The Academy teaches these murderers exactly what they want to hear. That is they can murderer anyone they want without reason or impunity. Police academies is where reform has to start.
  • Once you figure out that police are only there to protect state property and state assets it all makes sense. “To serve and protect” is true, but it’s not to serve and protect you, it’s to serve and protect state property and state officials. Period
  • I love James. He tells it like it is. This cop is so flustered he’s dangerous in my opinion. She’s not close to the traffic stop. She’s waiting for her sister. This is proof her sister is right by waiting for her.
  • 2 very smart ladies who had each others backs true girl power well done girls
  • It’s amazing how 99% of these videos has the cop just opening unlocked doors. I changed the factory settings of my truck that my doors remain locked when I put it in park.
  • Honestly, the most telling sign in this whole video that they are NOT worried for their safety — when the lady in the black car finally agrees to give her ID, you can see the cop in the window reflection casually chewing gum with his hands on his hips while she digs through a large ‘purse’ (for almost 30 seconds) that could easily be holding a very large handgun or any other kind of weapon…he’s not threatened in any way, otherwise he would be on high alert. She’s lucky that he was just there to throw his weight around and bully her, otherwise she could have been shot by a hypervigilant cop.
  • One officer could deal with the white car solo… He only called back-up for the 2nd black vehicle, so why does she have to leave once back-up is there to watch her? Follow the logic – she needs to leave so I’m safe on my own – now I’m not alone she still needs to leave (why?) But now she can stay there because he’s getting his desirse fulfilled by obtaining her ID… Does she need to leave or not?
  • Why are all cops so emotionally unstable and unable to communicate with the public in the way a “peace” officer or public servant should?
  • Keep in mind they are trained to act on fear. Nothing at all like military. We trained to run towards the fight not shit our britches on a traffic stop with two harmless ladies.
  • It’s seriously like they go out of their way to imagine new ways to earn the hate daily.
  • That training session sounded like they are creating heartless killers.
  • The saying “back the blue until it happens to you” is catchy and clever, however, this is one I don’t have to learn in the School of Hard Knocks, ty!
  • “In this day and age” ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS AND KEEP THEM LOCKED!!
  • Dude is literally making shit up as he goes: “Not within two car’s lengths.” Maybe he has depth-perception issues too.
  • Since when did it become illegal to pull on the shoulder of the road?
  • Sister: “What law am I breaking?” Cop: “It’s not safe.”
  • Are they really training him to “can I shoot a child?” That is very concerning.
  • “We investigated ourselves, and found we did NOTHING wrong!” What do you suppose would happen to you if you slammed a cops door on him like that?
  • Cops should be fearful for their life when they act like this.
  • I think of that young child in their mothers back seat, who now is probably afraid of police, and now knows their true behavior.
  • I was once in that child’s shoes. Only we were in our kitchen and my dad went out on the porch to speak to a sharpsville police officer. The discussion got heated and the cop assaulted my dad with his huge mag flashlights from the 90s. When they got a warrant and broke into our home they pointed a shotguns at my mom and us kids! Yeah really wonderful experience. Back the blue until it happens to you.
  • Can you only imagine the shit they got away with before the advent of body cameras and cell phone cameras. It must’ve been a great time for the cops being able to do anything they want to do. Watching this video makes my blood boil.
  • That instigate. They are the lowest form of citizen.
  • Yes, officer safety is the most important consideration. And remember, there are only twenty-two other professions in the US that are more dangerous ..
  • Nothing’s going to change until we do away with qualified immunity
  • After watching these videos, I am surprised we are not reading about more cops getting smoked EVERY day. These guys are out of control.
  • Almost as if they get paid exclusively to escalate
  • If witnesses make you nervous you’re up to no good.. this video defines why cops hate cameras!
  • Cop 101: always escalate. Always use violence. Always earn the hate
  • @12:20 James claims that she has the right to be there but be wary of that advice, you might risk some trouble. Audit the audit covered this video also where he explains why the cops may have the authority to ask her to leave the scene.
  • Isn’t it just so awesome how they make up their own rules laws and just escalate situations out of control. I know for a fact they’re taught how to escalate situations they’re not taught how to deescalate because none of them know how to do that.
  • I love the ones where they got the body cam footage because that means they’ve already taken the first step towards suing the department.
  • When his superiors hear his language saying” I don’t give a fuck” he should be fired on the spot.
  • “I run tags all day long” ….. this is what really happens!
  • Same thing happened when my wife was following me and got pulled over. I pulled over. The cop approached my wife’s car. Then he walked up to me. I said, “She’s following me to my parents house. She’s never been there before.” The cop said, “OK, she was speeding. I’ll be done in a minute.” That was it. No big deal. That was before cell phones and digital maps.
  • Here’s the bottom line everybody!
    • 1. We know how they’re trained
    • 2. We know they’re not responsible for our safety anymore.
    • 3. We know they are allowed to lie to our faces legally.
    • 4. We know they use terry stops, and Call it officer safety.
    • 5. We know they’re protected by police unions.
    • 6. We know they are protected by qualified immunity.
    • 7. We know that they police themselves any time a complaint comes in.
    • 8. We know that most of the people they pick on have no money to protect themselves.
    • 9. They know when they do get caught, the people, cities and counties, and insurance companies, pay for their mistakes.
    • 10. That’s why we are considered guilty until proven innocent.
    • 11. We know we are on trial every time we’re pulled over. So as you can see everything is automatically stacked against us. Yes we have rights, yes we have the constitution, but when you’re guilty until proven innocent our system is broken. Our forefathers would be rolling in their graves, when they see the leaders of this country stomping on our God-given rights. As a country at this time we are all in grave danger. Our system has turned against us. The sad thing is we have allowed it, and we pay for it financially, emotionally, and physically.
  •  Imagine how this would of have gone without bodycam, we know how! They would of beaten that woman probably murdered her and claim she was reaching for his gun or she assaulted him or some bullshit excuse. Man something needs to be done.
  • For “Officer safety” gives them illusion of unlimited power. The training video clearly showed they’re trained to be aggressive tyrants.
  • 8:00 I don’t know you. You don’t know me. That justifies the officers fear in his eyes but somehow doesn’t justify her being afraid and having someone nearby keeping an eye out for her. It used to be witnesses were a good thing.
  • What if the toddler had a gun. That officer is so brave. Putting his life on the line to keep the community safe from disabled moms and kids. He should get an accomodation for bravery.
  • You don’t have to identify simply because they’re a law enforcement officer.. You have the right to be to be secure in your papers and documents..
  • I’m more than a little concerned that the cops in this town (and probably others) are just randomly running plates as they drive around, without actually having a valid reason to do so….then initiating traffic stops without a violation having been committed…looks like a revenue generating scheme to me…
  • At about 7:00 punk cop admits there’s no reason for him to go to the other car! And if you look close at the image of other cars four or five car lengths away! Why would you be afraid…… your bullets would travel much more distance then that!
  • It appears that officer is putting everyone in danger with not only his behavior, but because he is not taken care of the reason he pulled her over and getting them underway.
  • He sounded drunk and extremely childlike. His partner was just an idiot. The Sergeant has allowed this Officer to escalate a peaceful situation and made a fool out of the whole Police Department. This all reflects on the Chief and the Mayor.
  • That guy’s voice started quaking as soon as his he felt his supposed authority being questioned. He’s obviously intimidated by women. And, while I’m not saying this as fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if he suffered from some kind of extreme abuse at some point, if it’s not ongoing at home. He needs to undergo a full psychological evaluation by a 3rd party professional to determine whether or not he’s fit for duty. Pretty scary that someone that emotionally compromised is carrying a firearm in the line of duty.
  • So from the get go he used a questionable tactic to get her pulled over with the running random tags without any laws being broken.
  • It’s not safe for you to be here! What happened to protect & serve?!!! You’re always safe w us heroes!
  • I do think the officers could have been more professional and could have handled it differently, but what it boils down too is this lady was obstructing the traffic stop by her very presence. She’s causing the officers attention to be diverted to her instead of the vehicle that he stopped.
  • she was well above the 10 ft recommendation. she should have gotten out on the public roadside and recorded him, from a safe distance.
  • The true fact is they hate accountability and they hate it more when citizens know more than they do. In today’s society it’s more dangerous to be a citizen stop by the police, than it is to be a Police Officer, especially when the Police ask you to get out of your car in any situation.
  • That fear-based training tho.
  • “Not within 2 car lengths of my traffic stop”. SUV is at least 4 car lengths away. The officer’s complaint with the other vehicle is with the other driver, not the driver he pulled over and harrassed. The officer was unnecessarily prolonging the detainment. The police officer has obvious anger issues. He will likely be the cause of unnecessary harm to citizens in the future. Wow, he even tries to slam the vehicle door on the woman. The police officer has more to worry about with all of the moving vehicles driving by than the woman who pulled over in wait for her sister.
  • Asserting your rights makes these tyrants soooo mad
  • I like when police say their recording the interaction you after wait 2 or 3 years to get it and pay over hundreds dollars
  • Florida Statute 901.151, no crime no ID gets null and voided when a cops ego is shattered.
  • “I’ll explain it to you later “. Uh no sir. Explain it to me first then I’ll know if I’m legally obligated to cooperate!
  • I don’t get why he’s yelling from 40ft away trying to tell the black car to go and then telling the women in the white car that the black car has to leave but never actually goes to the black car and tells it to leave. He’s just got ego issues.
  • Embarrassing, disgusting and unprofessional are the kinder words I would use to describe the tyrant cops behaviour. A textbook example of how to turn decent people against cops.
  • I feel bad for his family. all of their families.
  • I the police exam needs to include questions to test the canidate’s undersanding as to why ciruclar reasoning is absurd.
