Why has United States reduced Middle East into a mess? What kind of benefits have Americans obtained from having made the lives of innocent Middle East people so miserable?

.. The US is responsible for about 5% of the mess in the middle east.

The US didn’t install brutal dictators across the region. We did install one as a favor to Britain. The rest is on the people who live there.

The US didn’t insist on public education systems based only on religious schools.

The US didn’t oppress minorities in nearly every country, or force people to use their tribal identity or religious affiliation as a justification for discrimination and abuse.
