The arrest of a Texas cop watcher for filming in public is the most recent chilling example of how law enforcement across the country is attempting to roll back auditors’ First Amendment rights. Jack Miller, also known as Texas Sheepdog, was filming outside the Olmos Park, Texas, City Hall when police arrested and charged him with multiple crimes. The ensuing five-day trial and jury verdict reveal that citizens’ ability to film in public is facing new obstacles and concerted pushback from the government.
…Let me get this straight. He went out to film a PSA about not threatening cops, only to have the cops brutally assault him trying to help cops. The Irony in this story is off the charts. 📈🤦🏿
Fellow Patriots & Freedom lovers, This is a Never Before Seen Audit was from about a year ago. The video was on the camera that was stolen from me by the Waterbury, CT Police Department a year ago. It’s funny to see how my style has evolved over time…Now Please be sure to hit the like button, it truly helps spread this around for more Patriots to see it and I appreciate it! – Long Island Audit _
The sergeant listening to the information and admitting he didn’t know and wanted to hear the rational shows that he is willing to learn more about laws he isn’t familiar with. That’s super important since a number of officers would just assume they’re in the right with their interpretation and not listen to citizens at all. I hope that he did follow up with looking into the laws of public photography in public buildings and continues to learn about laws through his entire career. There are a hell of a lot of laws, and part of working a job should always be improving your abilities.God forbid, the police spend even a second explaining peoples rights to the people who call them and quell their fears. Could it be they actually want confrontations with auditors? You can tell that he thinks it’s just to escalate and get a reaction out of people, so he is only making his own job more difficult. You can tell by his original aggressive approach, proof that they prefer when people don’t know the law.-You’re scaring people. -Well… I could say the same thing about you, but you’re just doing your job. Imagine being scared by probably the most polite guy with a camera in the entire country.Amazing to see/hear cops say “You’re scaring people…people feel threatened…” as if it’s something that is the auditor’s fault. What person in the right mind doesn’t feel scared or threatened by cops in the US?! Should they go home because we feel threatened when we have a cop car behind us in traffic? This was a strange ol’ audit. On the one hand the sergeant (aka assistant manager) was humble enough to admit he didn’t know what the laws were but on the other it also felt that he was dying for filming to be illegal in certain circumstances. I wonder what might have happened if the postmaster had said he wanted Sean trespassed rather than admitting that he could film? Would have been interesting to see how they panned out.21:47 These cops are so delusional. He admitted he does not know anything about the federal law governing post office but insist on giving directives.Everyone is “concerned” when someone does something they don’t like. What happened to minding your own business?? He wasn’t hurting anyone. Good lord.
Is This What You Want To Do | Cops Out Of Control
- Yet another ticking time bomb just waiting to hurt someone. Hopefully he is removed before he does.
- The cop that’s basically a psycho is used to walking up to people and scaring them. He’s not used to citizens knowing their rights let alone standing up to him.
- It’s frightening just how much that cop has to restrain himself from being violent. I feel so bad for his family.

- Who sounds aggressive. The grey beard old Cop, that’s who. A group of the reason for the people to make their law enforcements to pay and carry their each own liability insurance
- Imagine what that one would do on a dark back street when he wasn’t being filmed. Now imagine how the others would support him.
- 5:58 “You sound aggressive sir, calm down!” Officer Berkholz is out of control! He should never be allowed to wear a badge.
- It’s extremely odd how they won’t take PREVENTIVE measure for anyone else (stalking, dv, etc), but they will fight tooth and nail to detour you from basic rights involving them!
COPS more threatened by Camera than Gun
I agree that cops don’t know the difference between public and private property.
I also think they don’t care I think they’re trained and programmed to think they can tell citizens what to do regardless of any situation.
I agree, police cadets should be required to take your course.
And seasoned officers should also. And if they screw up and violate someones rights, they should be ordered to take it and pay for it out of their pocket. You gotta stop man. It isn’t a matter of not being taught. Or not reading up on it. They. Do not. CARE.
They know! They know this is not right!
Problem in this case is no one was educated.
The cops refuse to believe they are incorrect.
The citizens moving when told to are sheep.
One guy stood his ground for a moment, then walked away. They are not listening to an informed and knowledgeable citizen, they were told during briefing that whatever unlawful action they conduct during this event will be condone to ensure compliance with”our rules”! The upper management of the police department and union will have their back no matter what. That’s why they do what they do because no accountability before they even do it!
It must really make them feel so powerful to give unlawful directives and have people who are ignorant to the laws follow their commands.
They just can’t resist trying to exert their non existent authority on citizens in public. It’s inground in their DNA.
People are complaining that so many police are retiring or quitting and I say good riddance. It’s those older cops who are used to violating people’s rights and getting away with it and lying in court and getting away with it I’m glad to see them gone. The young cops mostly just don’t know any better and these auditors and YouTube are really doing the most to train the cops in the law. There is some hope for the Young cops. The younger cops also grew up with phones and cameras so they’re not as intimidated and angered by a camera.
When the day comes that law enforcement becomes accountable for their actions. All of the reasons that made police work appealing to them will be gone.
Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others
Trespassing on a public sidewalk now huh 🤔🤔🤔
A cop that is threatened by a camera is a cop that needs a camera on them… they cannot be trusted.
Anytime police say “I’m asking nicely” or “I’m trying to help you out” they are about to ignore your rights.
What makes this video even funnier they was trying to step on his rights and he knew his rights as the national anthem being sung in the background lmao😂😂😂🤣
I believe cops know the laws. They just hope they can find citizens who don’t know. This way they can boost their ego by pushing their agenda.
My man they know the difference very well, they just dont care. They consider themselves above the law, or in some cases, they believe they ARE the law.
More training on laws, less training on beatdowns
There are so many cops who seem like they’ve never been told No before
It’s not that they don’t know, it they do know but want to flaunt THIER authority. These are cops that are waiting to be let loose, especially in that environment!
